I'd imagine this is where products like the Z/28 shine. Thrash it at a track, not hide the fact, and get it warrant coverage.
I feel like Dodge doesn't care as much about the Challenger as Chevy cares about Camaro, and Ford about Mustang. Perhaps if they did, it wouldn't consistently end up in third place in sales each month behind the other two.
I'd like to see a convertible Chevy SS...with some extras done to make it look a bit more...interesting.
