Hmm... I might have to learn to love Android I guess. I'm on a tight budget, I liked my iPhone because it was unlocked so I could drop in another sim as I moved between countries, but I'm sick of the whole Jailbreak-slowdown-rejailbreak process.

HP Pre 3: good replacement for an aging iPhone 3G?

I used to have software that did this but I cannot remember the name, perhaps someone could help me out.

Ah ok, I guess once it learns not to simply tag everything as important it'll be useful. Thanks!

Can anyone explain to me what use the "mark as important" arrow is? I already use the stars, so I'm struggling to see why both are necessary.

@lanboyo (not being able to reply to short comments is ridiculous, change it back LH) Macbooks (probably most laptops nowadays) charge things fine via USB when they are plugged in and on standby.

I would've agreed with you not long ago. Now,I think when people focus on the specs, they are stop "seeing the forest for the trees" as it were.

What do you miss since switching from iOS/Android/Whatever?

What are the Facebook and Twitter things that look like drop-down menus? They don't look like Geektool.

What kind of beans do you use? My family is Irish, the only type that existed as far as we knew growing up were the tins of Heinz baked beans with that ketchup-like sauce...

I might just get one of those, I've been trying to figure out how to make pasta in the microwave for a while.... I love Easymac, but I can't get it easily here in Ireland, and it's the only brand of pasta that seems to work without boiling over or just tasting horrible.

Pasta dishes can be frozen? I've been putting pasta in the fridge for the next day but never thought of freezing it, interesting. The breakfast burrito idea is actually brilliant, I didn't think of that (Breakfasts are the times when I'm worst for giving in and buying food on the go, as it's a student apartment there

I guess I should've added "no soups or stews" to my original request... not a fan of either sadly :/

Anyone know any cheap hearty meals that can be prepared in batch then kept in fridge/freezer and microwaved when needed over the space of 5 days?
