Saddle bags have a habit of getting stolen immediately. This camouflages them in something much less likely to get stolen (Though not perfectly thief-proof), and the hydration point is moot for someone who uses more than one cage (as in the picture) or a camelback type system.

The default position of most commenters

BetterTouchTool, Carbon Copy Cloner , PS3 Media Server, and TVrenamer.

It doesn't bother me one way or another. Having a star used to mean a) I was part of the cool group of particularly good commenters and b) I got to promote other particularly good comments.

It's been years since Giz was the superb tech site it once was, now it's just a random-interesting-shit tabloid site. But still, this place had the best damn commenter community on the web back in the day, and I'm more sad to see that has died than I am about the writers leaving.

Or, just throwing out an idea, not everything on the internet is serious business; perhaps a desk designed for whimsey warranted an equally far-fetched tale behind it.

I remember when Giz commenters were bright and immensely witty fellows and fellowettes.

Replying to promote comment.

You clearly don't have the same headset we are talking about, with the official 7.1 PS3 headset there is no sound at all coming from the TV, it all comes from the headset.

I agree, there's no reason for this to be on Gizmodo rather than Lifehacker.

Everything about that picture just screams idiot frat man-child.

Just pour the alcohol into the cup for Jesus' sake, why do you need to keep the entire can in there?

Not Supported ≠ won't work.

I'm the opposite, I steal Windows 7 wallpapers for use in OSX... although not when I need to seem professional. Far too trippy and Dali-esque for work people to take me serious.

I agree. The names aren't the problem, it's the fact that almost every phone maker other than Apple sells at least a dozen different vaguely different phones at any one time.

"iPad? What a stupid name. Man, I can't wait to for Ice Cream Sandwich, gonna put it on my Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket Note Utra Thundershock 4G"

Studying while tired? Nope, can't say that's ever worked for me. Ever.

That's basically NAMBLA's argument too.

If the coffee seems a little thin, that means it's raining and you should go back inside.

Just rub condensation off the inside of windows after you get through security. Terminal 4 at JFK often nets me a nice refreshing 7-10 teaspoons of water in the winter months.

I said the same thing on the Airparrot article- Mountain Lion is only a few months away, might as well wait for native Airplay goodness.
