Yeah, that was pretty ridiculous. On the other hand, they also missed an obvious foul when Kansas was attacking the basket at the end of regulation, then gave OU free throws on an over the back call that would have handed them the game.

Lucas went over the back, but before that, Mason was drilled in the face by a left forearm.

Anyone lucky enough to already follow @FauxPelini before this game was treated to a Twitter showing from another plane.

Oh God I thought I was the only one who read Drood! Hello fellow suffering Drood reader!!

GRRM vs. Puppies delights me.

So we’re supposed to believe some guy saying that in 2013 who has a grudge against GRRM? I highly doubt it.

Dan Simmons, the whackjob wingnut author of “Flashback”? Gee, I wonder if he’d have any vaguely political reasons to smear Martin...

The commission that governs the weirdly named Relic Room, a name overburdened with religious overtones

Using the term “relic” is not religious at all. As someone who works in museums I can tell you that the term “relic” is often used to describe battlefield artifacts. Just do a simple search on “Civil War relics” and you’ll come up with all kinds of rusty gold. Typically, “relic” refers to artifacts that have decayed

Yeah, Giants PR/NY Media are tripping over their own feet to try and justify that temper tantrum.
Tomorrow’s story: Panther equipment manager seen with water bottles; Odell feared waterboarding.

But if you hold of on actual news to maintain a relationship, you’re just an arm of their public relations department and not a journalist.

I yelled at play-by-play announcer Joe Buck, and tweeted about Joe Buck, throughout the baseball playoffs that just ended. (Go Royals.) He is still much better at his job than I would be. I’m still allowed to resent him.

Even then, I have a problem with it, because the coach and the Christian kids are going to notice who’s not attending those prayer meetings. It’s implied coercion.

Wonderful, but since this rule DOES exist and just hasn’t been strictly enforced until thousands and thousands of people saw a leg get broken on an absolutely filthy and illegal post-season play, how do you feel about that instead of these hypothetical nonexistant rules?

No one is making anything up as they go along. They’re just finally enforcing rules that ALREADY EXIST.

Interesting. So you’re saying MLB suspended Utley because of some unwritten rule? Well that is simply blasphemous!

President Dewey favorited your Tweet

Unequally applied discipline my ass. He aimed for Tejada, injured him and should get suspended.

I hated the exclusion of stats in TES5, but I think the exclusion of skills in this game is a really good idea! I hated not being able to hack a computer simply because my “science” skill was too low (which is all that skill did aside from some extra dialogue choices).
