Link actually is pretty much a blank slate in my experience.

It's not really a lie. Stories have switched the sex of character before (BSG, for example) so it's arguably just another way of telling the story.

"Yes, the Libyan people appreciated our efforts so very much, they launched an attack on our embassy there."

"Yes, the Libyan people appreciated our efforts so very much, they launched an attack on our embassy there."

"He stated for gay marriage to let the states handle that, that is the status quo, anything else is just lip service."

True. That occurred to me actually when I wrote the post but I apparently failed to mention it, so kudos for bringing it up.

This argument strikes me as a weak one. It basically amounts to saying "hey, we're not going to cut emissions until everyone else in the world does."

"What has he done for gays rights except state that he will continue the status quo and let the states deal with it?"

Guantanamo is a fair point. But Obama's taken some bold actions on other fronts. Health care and gay rights, in particular, although he has been a strong proponent of green energy throughout his entire presidency so far. I also believe he's done a pretty good job on foreign policy, though I do wish we'd take a

Fair enough. But again, I'm counting that as a potential factor in an estimation, not proof in of itself. I think the other factors are probably more important, although it is worth noting that what female friends he had were mostly his relatives.

Did I say proof? No, I said one claim was stronger than the other.

Fair enough. But the point remains that the case is much stronger that he was a closeted homosexual than a Casanova.

True, we don't know.

He actually was accused of sodomy as it turns out and may have gotten out of a conviction mainly because another member of the accused was rich.

I did a little bit of research since making the post and it's indeed a weird move. Unlike a lot of historical figures who've been speculated about as possibly gay (Richard the Lionheart probably being the most prominent example), there seems to be a fair amount of evidence identifying da Vinci as a homosexual. He was

Wait, wasn't Leonardo da Vinci gay?

Yes, that would be legal.

Man, I do remember being terrified by a lot of these movies back in the day. It's like you took all the scariest parts of my 1990s childhood and put them in a list (which I guess was the intention). I'll add one other to the list: The Nightmare Before Christmas, if only because of the Boogey Man.

I think it's pretty clearly a parody even if there's an inferred endorsement hidden within it. In particular, it seems to be spoofing some of the more hyperbolic ads that were put out with earnest seriousness this year (such as the infamous Chuck Norris "1000 years of darkness" ad). Note also that the video did

"Ben Kingsley has long played characters of various ethnicities (Prince of Persia anybody?)"
