This is pretty straightforward. It’s just an income share agreement (ISA) but made to sound way cooler and fancier by adding in some crypto adjacent term like “token”.

It’s pretty easy to find, just google it. sports.usatoday has NCAA Finances revenue tracked every year, and business insider has put out a lot of coverage of the numbers as well as doing some of their own work pulling in dept of education data. The three highest grossing sports are Football ($30 million on avg),

California is very large, both in terms of population and financial resources (12% of US population, 16% of US income, an economy bigger than all but 4 countries), but also the actual count of universities and sum or enrolled students.

Terminal 2, i.e. not southwest, is excellent. Terminal 1 is old, small and crowded, but getting in-and-out of the airport, parking and security heck line times is unmatched. I’ve lived in a lot of cities and flown through a lot of airports and SAN is without a doubt my favorite. Them moving Alaska airlines to terminal

The worker did this during working hours, not non-working hours, and the worker was attempting to convince people to lie to their managers and take a sick day not organize a walk out or strike.

The increased visibility and publicity that came along with Cyborg joining the UFC and things like the embedded series, have really been nice to see the real human being Cris Cyborg instead of the garbage Dana and the UFC had been pushing for so many years.

LBJ rightfully won the MVP in 2009-2010. While I am a huge D Wade fan, and am an adamant Wade > Kobe arguer. LBJ from 2007-2014 was so far above and beyond everyone, and 08-12 was the peak of that period. In pretty much any other year DWade ‘09-’10 deserves MVP but not that 5 year peak of LBJ.

That Tesla exploded in Shanghai yesterday because it caught a sneak peak of this shit.

Married people have significantly higher rates of producing offspring, and we need to either aggressively up our fertility rate or double our immigration rate if we want to have any sort of sustainable financial future for the country.

1. Memorial Day

Von Miller has certainly been amazing and I’m in no way trying to diminish how great he is, but it’s important to note that Khalil Mack has missed two games to injury and was clearly limited by injury in 2 games (Miami & NE). That and Mack has an Int return for a touchdown as well.

Okay white man yelling “he caught a body” I hear you, and I agree we should start scheduling Embiid’s funeral.

Is Bobby Portis really butt? I mean this year he’s been pretty rough, but he had a 20 PER, .550 TSS% and 36% from 3-pt, with 0.11 WS/48 in 23 mpg last year as a 22 year old, the year before he was pretty good to0 (.115 ws/48). He’s totally serviceable as a solid bench/rotation player on a good team.

As always great work Giri. By far my favorite writer on deadspin.

I’m confused by him passing this off as a product of how he grew up. He’s from a rural Ohio town that is >96% white...?

I don’t think that was true this past year. He was noticeably and significantly less effective on defense this year than any of the past 4 years. I don’t even know if he was the best defender on his own team last year. I’d be willing to hear somebody out on KD being the best defensive player on the warriors last year.

I mean, he will have made ~25 million dollars by the end of next season in which he will turn 26. There’s no guarantee that he does that well if he goes back to school.

It’s amazing that she is so dominating so quickly after returning from having a difficult child-birth and here career has been awe-inspiring. I’m not in anyway trying to knock her

Dame shoots >40% of his shots from 3-pt range while booker shoots 30% of his shots from there. While the FG-% aren’t terribly different, the true shooting number are - with dame up around .595 and booker at .560.
