SICK PASS BY THE R8

Quick summary for the impatient:

This is exactly what u was wondering and the only conclusion seems to be that, yes, they went out of the way to engineer-down a basic safely design in order to save money.

I didn’t think it was even possible to build cars that badly anymore. The basic design set ups usually have safety levels built in right from the start, did they design a basic car and then actively go back and take all the safety features out? I mean deliberately weakened the design through an active process? That is

Have you seen one in person?

Well, spotty quality is part of the charm of owning an Italian car.

That’s a lot of hand assembly for such a relatively inexpensive car. Also, while I think complaints about panel gaps are overblow, it’s easy to see how they can end up there when they seem to be just gluing on a lot of stuff by eyeballing it.

I lived with that yellow one for a week and I would very happily continue to live with one for the rest of my stupid life

“Never,” he replied. “This is my first time ever on a racetrack, I’m so excited!

God damn infotainment systems ruining cars!!!

Only surprised no one had a gun.

Nobody that has ever driven in a Texas city should be surprised by this video.

So THAT’s what happened to the Nissan GT-R LM design?!

And then post a pic of the 911 GT1.
