I have good benefits and great pay for my “at-will” job. If my company was unionized (which the union tried - and failed - in one of our markets recently) I wouldn’t have had the promotional opportunities that I had to get me where I am today, because unions value seniority above all else.  If we were union, I would

Why not do the full report, where USPS Is Losing The Delivery Wars With Its Unionized Workers?

Does Jalopnik have a weekly union propaganda quota to meet?

Hardly too much.  My ‘18 Sierra makes 420 HP / 460 TQ.  It moves okay for a truck but nothing insane; once the warranty is up I’ll be adding a flex fuel sensor and tuning it for E85 to get some extra power and save a few bucks at the pump.

Stupidly slow. Won’t handle well. Ugly. Uncomfortable. Likely unsafe in any type of crash.  Probably doesn’t do that well in fuel mileage. Brakes, after you fix them, poorly.

I see 0.0 appeal in owning this thing.  By the time you get this thing sorted to be drivable (as brakes, and you know it needs tires, are just

Though not called out in this article, predominately black districts also voted AGAINST this bill. So the whole blame whitey narrative doesn’t really work here.

I have those Galaxy Buds+. They are pretty good. They don’t sound as good as my Galaxy Buds Pro, but they actually fit better and you don’t have the problem of hitting skip/pause while adjusting them in your ear like I do with my Pro’s.

Repairman - making a guess as to the root cause without any information regarding the accident, I bet lockout/tagout procedures were not properly followed.  Happens too frequently in industrial accidents.

Some of them have more.  I bet Jordan is worth more than that now.  Shaq too.  Probably several in the top 20 have higher net worth today than their earnings.

That’s high for a weekend driver. I owned mine for 6 years and 1 month. For all repairs/maintenance, including multiple sets of tires (including snow tires), battery, fluid changes, etc. plus all actual repairs, I was in it for $6,220.17. That’s over 54k miles starting at 108k miles. That’s 1k/year daily beating on

To be fair, the E9x platform has a host of issues. Many are overblown as anything with miles has updated parts that resolved early woes (such as the HPFP and early index injectors). But they still have wastegate rattle issues, oil leaks EVERYWHERE, some sensitive electronic modules, etc. Not a car to own if you don’t

Those couple problems that are listed as wrong are just what the owner is willing to admit or knows about.  This thing will just suck you dry, and not in the good way.

Full CP @ 6k.

I sold my ‘07 335i with 163k miles on it (so very close to this) for $8500 this past winter. Except it wasn’t wrecked (actually looked pretty nice and was in better shape than one would expect for the price). Piggyback + backend flash that I had on it, should have been making 360-370 to the wheels on E10

Drifting is the Ice Dancing of motorsports.

I get it, you aren’t going to find this generation Integra for the same money in this condition. There is a reason for that - even if you are for some weird reason into slightly fancied up econo-boxes, the LS isn’t what you want.

This is a gas mileage daily driver. And you could find something else for 10k that is

The great thing about dual mode exhausts - pull you over and just set it to quiet mode. I flip mine to quiet anytime I see a cop, even though it is not something they typically care about here. I just do it as a precaution to reduce any reason to have an encounter.

I’ll make sure to leave my dual mode exhaust open just for you to hear all 427ci of loud, cammed V8 goodness.

You need to drive better cars. My wife had an ‘06 A4 for 10 years. Slow and not very entertaining but was relatively reliable. Her B8.5 S4 is FAR more entertaining to drive but is easily the lowest HP vehicle we own.

Look, my high school / early college car was an ‘86 Honda CRX Si (bought it in ‘95, after my first car - an ‘84 Renault Alliance that shit the bed after a few months of ownership). Was a good HS car, super lightweight, and way more leg room than a car of this size had any business having. This 2-seater had a passenger

The police union will do everything in its power to protect these guys.

**Now waiting for all the union boot lickers to tell me how unions are great and all of our freedoms as employees are because of them.

If it wasn’t from the quote from the actual news story, it would be impossible to discern what actually happened.

The Jalopnik bloggers really take the time to write an article it seems.
