Plenty of sports cars have lots of HP.  This one doesn’t.

The conversion is not the only bio on this car.

B6 S4 is a nightmare on 4 wheels. Not that B7 is any better motor wise, but the rest is a little more reliable. CP at any price - not worth the headache...spend a small amount more for a B8 and you at least get a dual-clutch tranny if you opt for the auto. Avoid that beater TT like the plague too.

That Syclone, though

Curious why you needed to mention it was a first class passenger in the title, when none of the other numerous assaults and douchebaggery by coach passenger call out there class of seating?

Clickbait much?  To be killed on a picket line you might need to be, you know, ON THE PICKET LINE.  Not somewhere else walking to the picket line.  I hope you don’t try telling anyone you are a journalist.

I got my first cell phone in 1998.  I was working and putting myself through college and don’t come from money.  My buddy/roommate got his at the same time I did and was in the same situation.  You hardly needed to be wealthy to have a cell phone then; I recall the whole thing being priced pretty reasonably.

6 billion won’t solve the issue. The US can easily come up with 6 billion. The problem is, even if the funds are not misused (fat chance), it will feed people for a while - then they will be right back in their current position.

The only fix is to correct the issues that cause them to be in this position in the first

My hope is that once GM starts producing the Z06, that they dedicate most of the production line resources into building those instead of base models. I think most folks would rather see more of these built than the base car, even though the base car is awesome.

Sadly, it will be a long time before anyone is getting

You are dead on correct. Once they get a taste they WILL expand beyond the first ~700 people targeted.

Good quality 85" 4k TV in Dolby Vision, with Dolby Atmos surround setup = no need to waste my time/money/comfort at the theater.  Not dealing with theater goers is an added bonus.

It’s quite possible why I stopped after the first 3. It has been near 30 years ago, so hard to remember.

This, word for word.

Though I hate this thought process, my ‘02 Avalanche North Face Edition that I owned forever is still going strong with my buddy I sold it to at 17x,xxx miles, all with original transmission fluid. On the shitty 4L60E at that. I even towed with that thing, up to its tow limit.

That said, when I replaced it with a 2nd

Composite intake manifolds isn’t cheaping out.  It is reducing weight at the top of the motor.  All LSx based motors run a composite manifold.  Much easier to port as well.  Even the FAST and (better) MSD intake manifolds for the GEN-III+ GM small blocks are composite.

Lame.  LS4 swap it.  5.3L V8 is much more interesting and it is designed to be in a FWD car.

Why stop running it?  A destroyed 3800 is worth scrap and nothing more, so beat on it at will.

So basically you paid for a coolant flush, the guy fucked it up leaving an air pocket, the motor overheated resulting in trashing the motor.

I assume you are going after the mechanic for the repairs. I turn my own wrenches (unless my vehicle is under a factory warranty) so such events don’t happen in my life, but

You do realize that manufacturers pay money for product placement in movies, right? Not always, but often.

I read the first 3 books as a kid - I probably should re-read them at this point (and maybe go further into the series than I did).

The 80's Dune movie was not well done. I bought it on DVD a good 20 years ago and probably still had it. Watched it once, noted that if I hadn’t read the book I would have been lost, and

Most of the world is not in that situation.
