I won my first iRacing race on that track in a Miata.  Fun and rewarding track; I liked watching their lines in a couple of the corners - something I will try to mimic the next time I run that track as there are a couple corners I’m certain I can trim some significant time from.

I think it is a shame you won’t write the same thing about every volume manufacturer doing exactly this. They constantly offer different discounts depending on the month = a DIFFERENT PRICE FOR THE VEHICLE. That means, and this is going to be a shocker to you, that everyone else is charging different prices on

And you know this how?  We are living in a world where these inflated prices may become the new norm via inflation.

Just because you can’t afford 8k on a toy doesn’t mean there aren’t many others that can. 8k for a 2nd/3rd/4th car is not that much. The maintenance is the killer here, not the price of entry.

Wrong because you are comparing two different things. Many dealers are charging MSRP or only a slight markup for ORDERS. Those orders typically taking 12+ months to arrive.

The vehicles being discussed are not orders, they are vehicles on the lot you can buy today.  Find me a dealer or private party anywhere, new or

People are paying more than that for used manual transmission C7 ZR1's.

What NEW  cars would you rather have for 130k?

LOL, what kind of ceramic coating are you getting professionally installed for $250?  I get the material is that, or significantly less.  The paint prep, though, isn’t.  Depending on the prep, coating  used, and the person doing it, a good ceramic coating job can be anywhere from $1000 to $2500+.

Yeah, we always go Air Canada. We layover in Toronto, so I assume all forms will be there. I wonder, even though the flight to NL will be domestic, if NL will have something additional when we land in St. John’s, as I’ve heard NL has its own set of protocols.

My wife had a B7 A4 for 10 years and it was fairly reliable.  She is about 3 years into her B8.5 S4 and the repair history for 101k on it is pretty mild for a German car.

For my C6Z, the 7.0L LS7 putting down 590RWHP - especially with a cam that really wakes it up at 5000RPM until the fun ends around 7000. I also love the traction control on this car - it actually lets you have fun without the car getting too stupid...which it can do with great ease. Every other car I’ve had with TC

This is really helpful, as we are flying to Newfoundland for Christmas to visit my wife’s family for the first time since Christmas ‘19 (we normally go there 2x a year).

Sounds like I will need to do more research on what we need prior to making the flight.  Especially a pain since we have our 10 year old who can be

Ugly wheels are very easy to correct.  I’m not rolling on some weird looking wheels; sell them and upgrade.

My truck has one from the factory. In 3 years I may have used it once or twice.

IMO - the inverter in the F150 Hybrid (or whatever they market it as) is a really cool and useful idea, as it’s more than a place to plug in a laptop or coffee mug.

Could have been blasting porn.  A little White Zombie is good for the little ones.

Lawrence - please tell us what engine the Prowler SHOULD have had. Requirements are simple:
- Something from the Chrysler lineup
- Something actually available when the Prowler was made
- Not the Viper’s V10, as we all know that a car this size wasn’t going to accommodate that

The V6 is there for a reason - Chrysler had

Too bad - this would have been a pretty cool car IF they used a proper powerplant (such as the engine from the then-popular SRT-4).  But just a slightly warmed over Smart Roadster...cool car with not enough grunt.

Yep, mine was a 6-speed T-top car. 6-point cage, Moser 12-bolt rear, bit of suspension work, ported stock heads, cam, nitrous car. Ran low 11's @ 122 but that was back when nothing short of an extreme exotic was running that stock. Ended up buying a fully forged 383 shortblock, heavily worked AFR heads, Procharger

I just recently sold my ‘94 Firebird Formula I bought in college in 1999 (LT1 car, of course). It has been an abandoned project for a while now, but I spent a lot of time enjoying, modifying and racing that car.

Likely either a scam, or a LOT of bad about it (engine is toast, frame damage, etc.).
