The 955 Cayenne’s had some notable issues, but 958's were fairly stout. When I was shopping to replace my high mileage 2nd gen Escalade EXT in 2018, I highly considered getting an ‘11 or ‘12 Cayenne Turbo. I needed something that tows and they actually tow well.

I ended up deciding I would miss the truck bed too much

Shortages like this are what forces change in the industry. If they can’t get employees at what they want to pay them, then they simply have to pay more or take on less business. There will be short-term pain for long-term improvements.

What we don’t need is the government getting their hands in it.

As long as it is funded with state money and not federal money, spend all they want.  It’s their citizens causing the mess.

That broad deserved a few solid punches to the face.  This guy, unfortunately, did not deliver.  She is obviously a POS and that’s usually how those types learn.

Hate me all you want, but the Japanese car culture - in general - is tasteless, tacky, and dumb.  Here is another one the many fine examples of that.

Seems like a pretty easy NP. Stock, assuming passing a proper PPI, that’s about a 15k car USD in today’s market. Those wheels are probably worth north of 2k used (and easily sold). The body kit is probably pretty pricey too, and both items are desirable additions to many buyers. It isn’t a steal of a deal, but priced

More tech that works on paper but not in the real world.  Way too many obstacles to overcome to implement this - we can’t even get a charging standard in place yet.

Cheaper to produce <> cheaper to the consumer. Further, cost of EV’s is only a portion of the problem:

Over 12k for a 31 year old dressed up Camry.  LOL.

I would fear being an early adopter of this tech. It is a big investment going all in on a new roof + solar. My neighbor just had a new roof installed with lifetime shingles, looks nice but was $45,000 - yikes (to be fair, there was some wood repair and other BS involved as his roof prematurely failed). His would be

Fires aside, this is a BIG problem with EV’s. Using the full battery capacity (aka, the full range) of the battery will reduce the battery life.

Every EV manufacturer has some overhead capacity it leaves in place, and it depends on the vehicle...and software on the vehicle, at the time. It is generally considered best

You are what is wrong with this world.

Solution is simple.  Fire all 4, charge all 4 with whatever you would charge any other citizen street racing on a residential street.  Done.

‘93 S-Blazer, owned from 2000 - early 2004. 2-door, 2WD, with the ONLY option being the engine, the 4.3L CPI, making it the “fastest” of a slow breed.

Lots of fueling and ignition problems. CPI uses poppet valves to fire the injectors as in batches of 3. This requires higher fuel pressures as a result, or it won’t

A Jalopnik hit piece on Elon or Tesla is expected. I just didn’t expect you, Elizabeth to go down to the level of Erik or Jason. I actually lost a little respect for you to be honest.

**Not a Stan, don’t own an electric car (far from it), don’t plan to, don’t own Tesla stock, etc.

I haven’t driven poverty spec vehicles since my mid 20's (42 now). It was a necessity then due to getting hard job wise with the tech crash and taking a few years to get where I should have been. Absolutely no shame in buying low end because that’s what you can afford, but too many folks pretend they do that out of

A lot of beaters on this list and other than Bradly’s 944's and 912, nothing I’d have hanging out in my garage or driveway (obviously Bradly’s primary income isn’t writing here).

A real lack of HP on this list. Does anything here even break 300HP?

If you think the US Government won’t quickly swoop in and take every piece of this Chinese rocket for themselves to study, you are nuts.  You will never get to keep it.

Just to be clear, being rare doesn’t mean it is good.

Could always file a suit in small claims court.  Just out of principle.
