It’s like saying “I think it is more ethical for the indigenous people of Syria to practice their traditions of beating women than regular westerners.”   Wrong is wrong, tradition or not.

Did I saw whales were humans?  No.  But there are countries where human rights violations ARE part of their history and customs.  Does that make it okay?  Just because you do some backwards ass stuff and so did your relatives doesn’t mean it is okay to do it.

So if human rights violations is part of your “history” and “customs” then it is okay? We have a lot of that in the world too.  Just because these indigenous people have a history of slaughtering whales doesn't make it okay to throw in an exception.

I checked local inventory of a couple dealers here, as I’m considering selling my ‘18 Sierra because Carvana is offering more than I paid for it 2.5 years ago. The pickings are SLIM compared to when I was shopping in ‘18. I won’t buy locally, as their prices suck and can save 4-5k at a volume dealer (and get what I

The car was worth more before the owner started screwing with it.  The bad choices of the owner (that particular engine swap and paint choice) may have cost him money but devalued the car.  His bad choices = his loss of money as this thing isn’t selling for that kind of money.

The 4 banger and V6 Camaro are hardly the coolest. Who buys a Camaro (or Mustang) with either of those powerplants?

ZL1 1LE is the coolest Camaro. Had used values not got stupid with the 2SS, I’d likely have one. Instead, I just bought a much less practical modded C6Z that will eat all but the ZL1 1LE for lunch

I’ve voting GMC. Those other two companies will likely be a flash in the pan if they ever do truly come to market...and they will get crushed by everyone else. Hell, if Tesla started today, they would get crushed too. Way too late in the game to try a startup company for a mass produced vehicle.

That said, it will be

The owner of one of the contract companies I work with had that exact thing happen to his father.  His dad was a preacher, just driving down the freeway, and someone threw some bricks (or something like that) onto the freeway.  Went through the windshield and blinded him for life.

I take issue with the 924 being worth more later because of the 914. What other model did the 914 have in the Porsche line to compete with or replace it? Nothing. 924/928/944 are all front engine. 911/912/356 are all rear engine and more expensive. You have to go at least 20 years newer to a Boxster and that’s really

That’s not true

I don’t get the E9x M3 values at all, even non-”collector” versions. I recently got rid of my lightly modded E92 335i 6MT. Yes, the M3 looks a little better, sounds much better, handles a little better, and accelerates slower. The price is just too much for what you get.

6th Gen Camaro 2SS.  Nicer interior - I’ve spent

Except it is functional.  There are butterfly valves in 2 of the 4 tips (one on each side) that opens up to allow extra exhaust flow.

Drag it to the scrap yard and be thankful for any amount of money they gave me for it.  These kinds of project rarely turn into anything even remotely good; it’s just someone trying to make garbage into less garbage and they tend just to make more garbage out of it.

What kind of helping hand do you suggest?  The government has been giving plenty of handouts already.  The lender sure seemed to be helping out.  Do you just want to pay off his truck for him?

Subprime borrowers tend to get the highest interest rates on car loans, because they have credit scores that are bad, which, on paper, makes sense, because the lender is assuming more risk, but in the real world sets up a lot of poor people to fail.”

A lot of assumptions here. There are poor people with GREAT credit.

3k is only a small portion of the money needed to make this car right. Any for what, to have a slow 924? There are better Porsche models to invest that same money into.

Men’s collection?  What man is wearing a fur coat and carrying an airplane purse?

How does one really use this today. For daily commuting, fine and dandy, charge at home or a local charging spot - easy.

Just say no to slideshow.

Maybe I’m just seeing it wrong - but jack stands on cinder blocks seems especially stupid.
