You are so spot on. These things are goofy fun, like a lot of other cars of this era - the Crossfire, Prowler, HHR, SSR, etc. I will grant that most of these pre-recession cars had horrible driving dynamics, but at the time a lot of mainstream cars did.

A few years back 13 cops emptied 137 rounds into 2 people, even standing on the hood of their car and shooting into the car, stopping to reload during. None were convicted of anything. Sooo.

In all seriousness, though, you might have been in the clear if you had shot the guy...once. But shooting him after he’s been disabled and is no longer a threat?
