You are so spot on. These things are goofy fun, like a lot of other cars of this era - the Crossfire, Prowler, HHR, SSR, etc. I will grant that most of these pre-recession cars had horrible driving dynamics, but at the time a lot of mainstream cars did

I think this is the correct take.

Waiting for the GOP to shoot this down now....

I don’t get the hate, either. People complain that manufacturers never take chances, that modern cars all look alike. But come out with an off-beat, imaginative design and the haters just shout louder.

Easy nice price, according to the listing and pics no significant mechanical or cosmetic issues, reasonable miles, any car that meets this description pretty much starts at $3500 or more these days. Add a turbo and a five speed, plus a decent amount of interior room, this thing is a screaming good deal (unless you are

I’ll start the madness. Turbo and a manual, looks fairly well kept.  I can see 3500 in this market, especially for something with a dollop of interesting.

Yea somehow incompetence never seems to be unfavorable to the dealer. They never list a top trim priced as base.

Is this the inevitable end of the Craigslist/Ebay/FB Marketplace mass-keyword-phenomenon, where the person lists a car with a handful of descriptives followed by a paragraph of completely unrelated vehicles to game the search?

Wait...so criminals don’t follow gun laws? I’m SHOCKED

Yeah, but those are cops, of course they weren't convicted. This guy is toast.

A few years back 13 cops emptied 137 rounds into 2 people, even standing on the hood of their car and shooting into the car, stopping to reload during. None were convicted of anything. Sooo.

Plausible, except he was a convicted felon, and thus couldn’t legally own the gun in the first place.

In all seriousness, though, you might have been in the clear if you had shot the guy...once. But shooting him after he’s been disabled and is no longer a threat? That’s probably inviting some attention from the cops. Tying him to your bumper and dragging him to a field to die? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Yep - came here to mention the Ram Van racing series in Japan!

:D

Nothing like the Dajiban!

I’ve tried giving a helping hand to some of those types.

I think he made 3 or 4 before flaking out.”

In the 90s lived in San Diego and had a 2wd Isuzu Rodeo. Champagne, V6, great condition. Moved to Seattle, and my ex had a bee in her dumb bonnet about having a second vehicle, even though we could afford it. I was a pushover, so I put it up for sale...many, many people coming by, realizing it’s not 4wd and being
