Really hope she gets it, too!

The Pentastar is cheaper to make and they already have an Atkinson version of it from the Pacifica hybrid. I’m guessing it was also more efficient in the RPM and/or load range needed for the generator to be most efficient as well.
They’re offering it on even the base Tradesman trim level, so the base price should be significantly less than that. The bonkers Titanium trim level, however, will definitely be over 100k.
The 5.9L/360 when bored .030 over and stroked to 4" (stock is 3.58") make a 6.7L/408. Blown 408 was the common go fast recipe for Dakotas (and a lot of other 360-based Mopars) before the Gen 3 Hemi came along.
Tom nailed this one.
And I’ve got one at 310k without any mechanical issues at all lol.
Agreed. I got my ‘19 Accord Hyrbid Touring with 20k miles on it for $27k this February. The same car now with more miles is going for $33-34k miles. My director is looking for one now too and had a dealer try to sell him used ‘20 for $44k last weekend. The same car stickers for $~37k brand new.
My ‘99 Neon R/T is still chugging away at 310k miles. The clear coat is gone and the dash is cracked (all before I got it 8 years and 130k miles ago), but it’s still on the original engine and trans and I’ll I’ve really had to do to it (other than oil changes) was a timing belt and spark plugs. It finally got retired…
It’s on a 98.8" wheelbase, somewhere between a 911 and a Fox body.
My one way trip to work is 32 miles. If I would wind up with less then that upon arriving home I’ll fill up before heading home. If I would have 33 miles miles when I get home then filling up can wait until the next day!
My ‘99 Neon R/T is my highest at ~310k miles right now. It had been my daily driver for between 20-30k miles a year since 2013 until March of this year when I got a ‘19 Accord Hybrid Touring.
Lights Out is definitely an 1/8th mile race.
I went with option 2. Having a lift makes things sooo much easier.
Indeed. I’m ~150 hours in (with over 200 in Odyssey) and can’t wait for the river raids next month and the DLC!
The truck 6.4L definitely makes the most sense, but who knows if they actually decide to go with logic or if they decide smashing the Bronco is more fun.
Indeed, WL Grand Cherokee should be coming as a 2022 based on Giorgio.
It’s going to be based on the new Ram pickups that came out for MY2019, but with IRS and other changes for SUV duty.
There’s actually going to be three 3-row Jeeps soon-ish: the Wagoneer, the Grand Wagoneer, and a 3-row variant of the new Grand Cherokee.
Were it a 4x4, then sure. But at $5k you can get a decent R/T with a 360 if you want 2WD or for cheaper you can get a later ‘03-’04 with a blown up 4.7L that already has a 545RFE which makes a HEMI swap pretty easy and already have better brakes up front and discs out back.
