Now, remove the power steering, the A/C, and add stiff bushings and coilovers to the Neon lol. It helps that I live about 10 minutes from the Tail of the Dragon.

My next car will be a L certified 2019 Es 300h. It gets 44MPG combined, has an available 1800w stereo, is dead quite, extremely reliable, and is the perfect long haul cruiser with a range of over 600 miles and comfortable seats. With the L certified route, it has unlimited mileage warranty for 2 years after the…
‘98 was actually the first year for the R/T.
Even as a Mopar guy, I can’t agree with that particular generation of the Dakota or anything with the 4.7L, really, and the previous generation couldn’t be had with seat heaters. The correct answer to this particular question is the Toyota/Lexus suv/crossover answer.
Yes, but it’s a much smaller part now.
We consider low production Ferraris and things of that ilk mass produced at a 10th of that volume so I don’t see why it wouldn’t count for the Dakota. And they made over 24,000 SSRs.
Also the first gen Dodge Dakota Convertible. There was also the SSR depending on whether or not you want to count it...
It’s got a little surface rust on the hood hinges, but luckily nothing really major as far as I know of; it’s lived in NC and Virginia it’s whole life though it does still get driven in light snow if they’ve plowed already lol...
They’re definitely going to go at some point, my Valentine One is helpful in the mean time though.
It’s a small world after all lol.
I’d really prefer it without the stripe, but finding a factory stripe delete R/T is annoying... It needs to be painted though to ditch the Dodge Pattern Baldness (ie disappearing clear coat) so it won’t have stripes when I get around to that.
Nice, I’m on the other side of the border in Robbinsville, NC.
Nice! My A/C worked, there just isn’t an easy way to keep it and remove the power steering at the same time as the PS pump acts as the tensioner for the too. The only thing that doesn’t work on mine is the sunroof and I never use sunroofs anyway so I haven’t cared enough to fix it.
Thanks lol, I like me too!
I love my ‘99 R/T! I still daily mine at 280k+ miles and it’s a hell of a lot of fun on the Tail of the Dragon (I’m local) with coilovers, poly bushings, and NT01s. Just got through converting the rack to manual and pulling the A/C so it’ll get demoted to weekend duty in the next year or two, but that’ll just be a…
The Porsche is gorgeous...
A new Lexus ES with the Mark Levinson upgrade has 1800 watts from the factory. In a Lexus...
‘99 and ‘01 also had IRS, but didn’t get the supercharger.
