Phoenix was awesome! I’ve still got my Ti-86 and 89 sitting at home, but all the games disappeared sometime over the years after the batteries finally died...
I built a shop and bought a lift, to hell with laying on my back in the dirt.
Good tires can be worth several seconds on a much shorter track than the Ring...
But not a factory option direct from Honda. Crap dealers swap onto the car doesn’t count as factory installed options. I’m sure you could swap DOT slicks on a lot of cars and they’d go faster around the ring, but it still doesn’t count.
But it ISN’T an option, the Continentals are the only tire at the moment.
Still not stock.
But those tires that they used DON’T come with the Type R, you only get ContiSport 6s, not the tire they used to test at the Ring.
You can buy and bolt on a bigger turbo and make more power and turn in a quicker lap, it still won’t be stock either way.
There’s a drastic difference between the Continental SportContact 6s that the Type-R comes with and the Sport Cup 2s you can get on an RS and then you’ve got stuff like the NT01 and R888R which are still street legal, technically, put you’re advised not to do it because a bit of dampness on the road might cause you to…
Agreed, the 037 is easily my favorite rally car of that error. Sorry Stratos!
No problem!
Nice. That’s not an option around here, plus I like only having to walk out twenty feet to my shop lol...
Bought it through a friend’s business in Murphy, NC, West End Carports. They’re a distrubutor for Carolina Carports:
Poor car. =-( Find a ‘99 or most of the ‘98s and your good on the headgasket though lol... They’re pretty cheap, you can find solid modded ones for under three or stockers for under two. Check the for sale section of neons.org and good deals pop up from time to time.
Yep, and a ‘99 too so I don’t have to worry about the head gasket lol...
That sucks. Could always move south where it’s warmer lol... =P
32x41 (the extra 2x1 are overhangs) with 12 foot walls. Here’s the price list:
I ordered it through a friend of mine who’s family owns a carport/enclosed building business, but it’s from Carolina Carports. Basically they build their stuff so it’s modular so you can through up just a carport and then if you want they can enclose the rest of the sides in whatever configuration you want with garage…
