The SC300 does, yes. The SC400 like he mentioned does not.

ET = Elapsed time which is the time from when you brake the beams to when you cross the finish line. You're thinking of a dial-in which is only applicable in bracket racing which this was not.

“Now the Viper—the first ones at least—were about as raw and visceral an extension of one’s Id as you could find. What it also had was a near perfect 49/51 weight distribution making sure the 400-bhp and 465 lb-ft of torque that the 499-cid engine produced could do some good when it came to back tire toasting time.”

Lift at home FTW!

The SNs (specifically the ‘94-’95s) are my favorite Mustangs, so I’m going to go with yes.

A first or second Gen Viper is the obvious answer with an SRT-10 Ram being the runner up.

Lol, go get him!

Yeah, you can find used ones for really cheap. That $3k number was brand new.

And they’re really no that expensive either, relatively. My Bendpak is rated at 10k pounds and was a little under three grand with shipping. Could have really used that last year when I was rebuilding a buddy’s Mustang (that had been sitting for 8 years) in my side yard and had to pull the engine and trans on grass...

It makes it so much easier it's not even funny. Here's a picture of mine from earlier in the summer when we were still working on getting everything set up.

It's actually really easy to remove. Two bolts and a little safety wire is all that holds it on.

Incorrect.

Only certain counties around larger population centers require it here in NC.

Came here to say this!

Oh, and I forgot that even with 205k miles on the clock it’s perfectly happy to live between 5 and 7k when I need it to on the Dragon and then go back to knocking down mid 30s when it needs me to go to work.

If I didn’t already have my ‘99 R/T I’d be on my way to Maryland right now...

Hello. Nice to meet you. I love my ‘99 R/T. The coilovers probably help, but it’s incredibly amusing destroying my little brother’s FRS on The Dragon with it.

Holy crap, I passed this guy on the way home the other day on the four lane portion of Highway 28 on what I assumed was his way to The Dragon. Didn't see any of the other cars above, so I don't know if he was taking a detour on his way home or what, but all the rally stickers make way more sense now. Small world.

Yep, they’ve ran them for decades now.
