This might be the cleanest engine of any 200k mile car I’ve ever seen.

Seriously? You can get a Toyota Soarer Aerocabin for $10k, and it actually looks good:

Now you’ve sent me down the rabbit hole. I’m doing inflation stats on the old tercel 4x4 wagons. $9,588 in 1987 is roughly 21k in 2019 money. Would I buy a new 4x4 tercel wagon for 21k today? YOU BET.

This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps.

I bet the pilots were giddily requesting their ground speed readout from ATC, only to be one-upped by some asshole in an SR-71.

I couldn’t agree more. Just saw this Tacoma the other day and had to snap a pic. My wife was like “why are you taking a picture of that?”

Was watching the game with my father last night when this ad came on, which led him to ask “Supra? Who makes that?”

Athough this looks great, your confining the Supra to the MARK IV design and style of the Supra.

Porsche, ever the Humblecar manufacturer, has an option to check off in the 18 volume options book for “Model Delete”. That’ll narrow it down to around 25 possibilities this year. Keep ‘em guessing.

In honor of your awesome win (which I fully support), we’ll be sending “Winnie From The Wonder Years” over to provide you some tutelage on the proper usage of statistics in automotive journalism. You may note that Winifred has changed— just a bit— from her persona in The Wonder Years.

I’m going to take the wayback machine even farther and suggest that NFS: Porsche Unleashed is the best NFS game ever made. Though NFS2SE was pretty awesome, I remember lapping one track ove rand over and over trying to figure out if the GT90 was faster than the McLaren F1 (it wasn’t) and then another track trying to

Toyota makes too much money selling overpriced Tacomas here. They’re not going to undermine that source of revenue.

Finishing an engine replacement in our ‘99 5MT AWD CRV. Original engine lasted 305K miles before the oil pump failed. We switched off the engine immediately but the cost of a new oil pump was high enough to make a low mileage JDM replacement reasonable. Been a super car for our family since new.

I understand your point there. But the Eagle was offered in a 2dr hatchback, a Gremlin body, a 2dr sedan, a 2dr sedan convertible, 4dr sedan and wagon. Honestly it "crossed over" to everything AMC was making at the time. I think if they could have pulled it off there would have been an Eagle-Pacer

Seriously, seeing Ravage eject just... damn me, I’m 12 again watching that! In a way that nothing since G1 has really done.

Don't listen to him. What's the point of being alive if we never get to be one with that beast and experience the freedom it brings.

I agree and thanks!

Insert the “You call that snow? I’m from Bumblefuck, Montdakota and we get 33 feet of snow a day, 300 days a year and I’ve never seen an accident!” comment here.
