I can see that. I’m not a big fan of detracting from the plot to do world building or develop backstory. I much prefer exposition or organically exploring the backstory while progressing the plot.

The biggest battery drain on your phone - by a large margin - is your phone sitting idle. That isn’t light use. That is extremely limited use. To the point that I wonder why you even have a smart phone.

The battery is far worse than the memory card. Not that not having a memory card isn’t terrible. Fill up your phone? There is always the cloud to use.

Also, suck it up and buy a 64gb phone and stop dicking around with memory cards.

You are nuts-o-jones. Brand new you get 28 hours of light use, tops. Not 4 bloody days. And you aren’t even desribing light use. You’ll only get 4-6 hours of continuous use web browsing. Far less if you are doing something that requires processor power.
