You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Suggesting that chemistry operates differently off-world is imbecilic. Seriously. There is no reason to think that, and if it were true would invalidate literally all of physics.

That might make it more difficult. Then you have to start and stop your engines for each leg of the trip. That's more wear and tear. The benefit, of course, is that you can mine the systems you stop in to rebuild.

How do you know carbon chemistry is the same everywhere?

Furthermore, "materials to form life" does not necessarily mean "materials to form a space faring civilization.

Why would people show up in a comment section, say a bunch of rude, crazy things, then just leave?

It was 1997, so no cell phone cameras. But:

I think the point is the incidents that are described are not consistent with a broader detection pattern. In other words, a UFO that can avoid detection so easily doesn't just pop up to fuck with a few earthlings.

You can't just unbind time. Even immortals need food. Even uploaded minds need power. Any ship you send needs to function and things tend to break over time.

There are many other ways to prevent them from doing that besides massive government intervention.

I'm saying this with respect and I hope not to cause offense, but you are being paranoid.

Maybe you've heard of Tasker. If so, welcome nerd.

The lights of every house on your block are nothing compared to running machines in one factory.

Going through her list, she called for game developers of third-person games to "de-emphasize the rear end of female characters," which she said after contrasting how Catwoman's butt sways in the third-person Batman gameArkham City

That small difference is exactly what she's speaking against though. Having sexuality in a game is fine, "endowing with sexuality" is exactly what she wants developers to stop doing.

I'm not going to take you seriously and read any more of you're comments if you're just going to say I'm wrong with no explanation.
