This is everything I could have ever wanted from a Werner Herzog 11 Questions and more.

As disappointed as I am, I don’t feel like they screwed up the ending so much as they half-assed it. It all makes sense, it’s just very boring at this point.

As always, I am hesitant to reply to comments with the knowledge that the Kinja system elevates Staff contributions and thus the comments themselves, but I want to address this since I’ve seen it pop up a couple of times in my notifications.

I can see how someone would find the Borderlands series to be obnoxious- the sense of humor can fall flat, the over-the-top exuberance can be wearying and it’s core gameplay loop is a loot treadmill just like the action RPGs and MMOs that in part inspired it.

Personally, I’ve never understood the “it needs to be different” mentality— when talking about another game in a series— the reason there’s a sequel is because people liked the original.

I didn’t know how badly I NEEDED to see that final half hour until I was watching it. Seeing Giant Man punch a space whale!?! That was incredible.

TheWrap notes that the character will be different than the one played by Diego Luna on ABC’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I just don’t think you can judge any of the characters off their origin story. There’s typically so much more freedom for character exploration in the second outing. 

It’s amazing how the complexity of characters and stories took a dramatic upswing after good ole Ike got the heave-ho. Don’t get me wrong, I still love them but we would have never got the nuance of Zemo or Killmonger (or hell even Captain Marvel in general)
