So what you're saying is because we needed them a long time ago we can never put any restrictions on them whatsoever, no matter how many people die as a result. Not even anything that makes it slightly more difficult for mentally unstable people to get their hands on them. Okay. Gotcha.

I dunno about that list. I see a lot of average people using iPhones, and a lot of people on Android phones verbally castrating iPhones and their users because ...hate? Bitterness maybe? I dunno. :P

Well, a government free of corporation control for one.

I rooted my galaxy nexus simply so I could block ads.

@My_Inbox_Is_Full: Whine more. Seriously, why do you care?

Did Samsung make this?

What if you have a photo and you're trying to determine where it was taken for crime-solving purposes, but it's too blurry to tell? Could be useful then..

This makes me want the Wii U even more. Nintendo's helping kids fill out their resume at a young age; who wouldn't want that?

The important thing isn't the blame game, eh? Is that why you felt the need to bring up Apple specifically instead of say "electronics"?

Actually, iOS is the Windows of the smartphone world. What makes Windows Windows? Well, the larger number of programs, especially high quality ones. If you're only going to put your program on one OS on computers, you build it for Windows. If you're only putting it on one OS on smartphones, you put it on iOS. Bit of a

Maybe I just plan better? Also, I would rather need a screwdriver to get at my battery, if it means I can accidentally drop the

Android really is getting better. Why would I switch back? To be blunt, for the same reason a Ubuntu user would switch back to Windows. It works better, it works much faster and more reliably, and it has way more programs.

There is no positive practical purpose for this. It can only be used for immoral things. Why are they researching this?

I put this one together with very pricy parts. Once I got it working, nothing really stresses me out about it. Except perhaps the occasional issues getting the shared wifi signal, but it's hard to blame the computer on that.

Only old video games consoles; lots of nostalgia there. Most other things are designed to replace older implements, so I don't get anything out of keeping other stuff.

So many whiny replies talking about how this isn't necessary. Why are people so up in arms saying why it isn't necessary? They seem to care... a lot.

Just wait until someone takes boltcutters to it or something and then jumps down. Maybe then they'll try concrete.

Would have to say my NES.
