Driving an ‘06 911 I find other 997s will wave, older air cooled 911s will wave, 996s rarely wave,  and 991 and newer never do. I don’t understand the dynamics at all but I’m always enthused to share a hello with another Porsche lover.

Oh god, now I can’t unsee Andrew as a shorter-haired Foo Fighter!

Re: your last paragraph, yes.

ah, that makes more sense

I *think* he’s saying the $100k he didn’t spend was invested and is now worth $387k.

Yeah, like I said, probably a ‘me’ problem.  I think what it is comes down to how much *more* impressive it could be.  It's kind of like the movie Hancock.  You have this rediculously talented cast, and interesting and thoughtful premise, and we still wound up with 'Hancock'.

lol wut. Used is good but your 2003 X5 which no one would confuse for a new one is only worth $387,000 if you covered it in $388,000 of gold because it would take an extra grand for someone to drag away a modded maintenance pig like a 2000s BMW

Keep your tissue and give me a RPG

I know I’m late, so I doubt any of the writers will answer with a proper, experience-based response, but why do car companies do this:

Should have taken Shea Blvd to Fountain Hills. I could have shown you a couple places that are American Autobahns.

A few thousand of these doing a few thousand miles a year is a drop in the bucket even compared to a tenth of all prius sales.  There’s just not enough volume for them to make any difference at all.

The up/down arrows on the shifter are to adjust between the 3 shift settings. Lowest setting is less aggressive and shifts softer/earlier. Highest setting is quickest shifts at much higher RPMs. M cars have had this for a while, but it used to just be one button and not on the shifter itself. They call it “DriveLogic”

caring about the environment is for the poor. After all, they will be the ones facing the brunt of climate change.

Erik, you really should have given me a trigger alert before including this photo in the article:

Bedbugs have absolutely nothing to do with sanitation or cleanliness.

Vamonos, pest!

That quote opening is something. Was someone accusing bed bugs of racism?

Yo, Mr. White it’s hot as fck in this Suburban.

Not to mention the Z’s larger, stickier tires
