I bought a Ram EcoDiesel 11 months ago and the Tundra/Sequoia is a vehicle I cross-shopped. I had 3 reasons not to choose the Toyota:

I always found those larger gas stations in Texas to be weird. Generally, stations in Canada aren’t designed around staying that long. But seeing a gas station with something the size of walmart attached was weird, and completely out of sync with the task that you have at hand. Even the pickups of Texas aren’t going

Sweet jeebus that’s some cool data.

Definitely agree with this! We have an 02 Yukon for towing or road trips and are considering a Bolt EUV for local stuff. It gets about 250 mile range which is still enough for a round trip to my nearest national park. It’s like 27k before any federal credits which makes it very reasonable for the price/use case imo

Probably the most intelligent response i’ve read on Jalopnik in a very long time. Respect.

Great points. My wife is now driving an ID.4. She does use some public charging because it’s free with VW and at work, but most of the charging is done at home. We rarely take roadtrips, so the longest one way drive the thing has been on is about 70 miles. And at least between Boston and CT, there’s enough charging

You’re making the assumption that those things are important to any EV owner.

If it’s not blatantly obvious by now, you’re clearly in the wrong and making broad assumptions that you can’t back up. You still continue to defend your position, which is sad. Let’s break this down from an Engineering standpoint:

Few republicans feel shame over this. Jealousy? Yes.

A filthy rich person buying privileged unfettered access to a member of the most influential body in the judicial branch with gifts would be considered aggravated corruption in just about any democratic country.

I just found a new one I like. Paint jobs that make the cars look like drawings:

That’s pretty awesome. It’s hard to not love the sound of the Hemi. It crossed my mind to get a Eco Diesel just wasn’t sure with the reputation they had. Good to hear they seem to fixed a lot of the issues, because it’s really the perfect engine for daily driving.

So where is it written in the Constitution that all of society has to keep spending money so that people who choose to drive their personal car on public property in rush hour aren’t inconvenienced?

We’re still in a world where workers can be fired for attending their mom’s funeral.

Yeah, that jumped out at me too… 229 kWh! I think these new trucks are going to cost a fortune to insure… one fender bender and it’s a write off.

And HEAVY AF.  9000 pound Hummer EV’s 212kWh battery pack alone weighs over 2900 pounds — REV’s is gonna be over 3000!

Not only that but that battery is gonna weigh a ton, literally.

The Republicans are really good at making up their own self-fulfilling prophecies.

But I defy you to provide a single council race where “negotiating the terms of the police contract as it relates to who pays for damage awards” was EVER a campaign issue. It is never discussed. Even when new contracts are negotiated, it’s never covered in the press. It’s one of those things that is so “unsexy” that
