I mean look, I’d do anything to see more of those “compliance cars” in showrooms, right now. IMO, every last EV being sold, right now, is a compliance car in some manner. In 10 years, we’ll all be joking about how most EVs couldn’t even get 350mi/charge and only went up to 80% charge after 20-30min.

I mean, technically, Iowa is looking to hire 14 and 15.  16-17 is already legal to work at a restaurant.

Fair point, but in the current world of SUVs and nothing but SUVs (and trucks) on the road, anyone with a regular sedan/coupe/station wagon already can’t see anything ahead but the back of said SUV/truck, so defensive driving practices and third brake light use are completely irrelevant. Only real solution is to buy

Counterpoint: They shouldn’t be following you so fucking close anyways for rear end crashes.

The Design language reminds me of where Hyundai is going with its EV lineup.  Not a bad thing, but it seems Honda is late to their own game.

TIL: AMC also has their own streaming app.

The Leaf gets you into a dead end DC charging standard though and it has limits on DC charging (due to having a passively cooled battery).

The only downside is that I would have to be seen in this:

Oh lookie, a whole lot of nothing I would want to drive or could afford to buy, anyhow.

Because the civilized world would collapse without transportation. At least EVs get us on a path towards renewable energy.

Everyone is entitled their own opinions, however you are not allowed your own facts. A lot of what you have written is factually incorrect and been debunked (i.e., EVs being worse for the environment that ICE vehicles).

Not 100% sure anymore. The car was recently sold. I believe I did the whole package at Sams Club.

I’d like to add, I live somewhat close to a few really popular beaches. I think the beach best describes the situation that we are really in, because the beach communities are actually quite sustainable....yet not sustainable at all.

I’m not sure what argument you are trying to make by saying there is traffic everywhere, I never said there wasn’t.

I’m pretty sure that’s the state minimum, different jurisdictions can tack on their own additional fees.

More Recently, Nissan Frontier and Mazda CX-5. I anticipate the low-pros on my ‘22 Ram are going to be around $1000, and I’ve dealt with owning an M5 that was $1000 for 2.

Not bad, but that’s x4 people, unless kids are free.
