Excess violence?? You kidding me?? The guy tried to pull a gun on a bunch of police officers.

Until you factor in the dealer markups and other bullshit.
I definitely love the idea of many cars for many purposes, but that’s a luxury for people who either have more money than common sense, or people who really love cars. Overall, I would love to have a fleet, I used to have a fleet.
So, basically, what you’re saying is that you would be fine with a minivan except for once every 3 years when you’ve got a trailer that’s over 3500 lbs? 😁 Also, I’m guessing you’re not over 70 years old so you’d definitely not be in the market for this Lexus.
The Leaf has a J1772 for L2 charging. The battery’s thermal management is only a problem under L3 charging.
I think it’s more of a move to avoid making mandatory layoffs. If too few bite on the “voluntary severance”, then they will announce job cuts.
At the moment, Federal tax credits spell a pretty good deal for any new EV, so it would be worth picking up a brand new Leaf (or Bolt) for about the same price as a used one, plus get the full warranty.
Honest question, what aspects of the Leaf make it “kid friendly” or “family friendly” versus a Bolt (or any other vehicle for that matter)?
I won’t argue that EV variants often give you a bump in Trim (because they pretty much have to), but the entire fleet of Lightning vehicles well out-prices the F-150 lineup.
I’d say the RZ is perfectly suited for the market it’s aimed at.
Maybe it’s just me but I can’t understand the fear of range anxiety. I daily a lifted GX460 with a 9 mile round trip commute. For longer trips we have a gas saving CT200h, but even then the number of times we go longer than 2 hours round trip is a handful of times a year. I imagine majority of commuters are in the…
This article is pure BS. Except for my Diesel, I generally run my vehicles until the light is on, often more. Yes, I have run out of gas one time or another, but nothing that has really put me in a pinch. I typically have a 2nd tank on-board that gets rotated out.
Don’t run it on fumes, and you’ll be fine.
I’m just going by the websites. Both of them advertise the before/after tax credit. I guess the 2022 Bolt sole enough to lose its status for a while, that reset on Jan 1.
But what Tesla sells is simply better and I’d pay more for it. I would only buy a Leaf or a Bolt if it was significantly cheaper than an equivalent Tesla.
As someone with a 2017 S90, a car you can’t use the included remote start with unless you pay Volvo $200 a year? Yeah, I’m gonna toss a big ol’ “Doubt” on them not charging in the future.
Why would the leaf not qualify for the same $7500 tax credit? It’s a compelling argument, they both have their upsides.
3. A subcompact electric sedan/hatchback meant for cities, but let’s be real: is that ever coming to the States?
I don’t think Toyota is investing that much into Hydrogen, even if it is one of their more known pet-projects.
I understand that re-structuring (including layoffs) are all part of the game, I’ve been with enough manufacturing companies to know how it goes down. Often enough, it’s best done surgically by cutting the wasteful employees and some of the newer blood that hasn’t yet become an asset to the company.
