I am deeply suspicious of the “they’re all trying to kill me/you” rhetoric espoused by so many riders. I’m pretty sure they’re just not managing risk with any logic or care.

That is such a silly take. When offers like these are made, the employer isn’t looking to “make” anybody do anything.

Huh? How did you end up at this conclusion?

Programs like this are encouragement for those on the fence about leaving to leave.

The buyouts are being offered to salaried workers in the U.S. who’ve been with the company for five years or more, as well as to global executives with two or more years at the company....If salaried workers in the U.S. opt to take GM up on the offer, they will receive one month’s pay for each year they’ve worked at

2. Definitely not every day, but if it hasn’t rained, at least once a week. You do want a strong root system, but grass can only go so deep to find water.

Bring a tugboat.

.....also, ignoring the fact that FSD is continuously killing its owners. Another one just ran into a parked and lit fire truck. The speed was so great it killed the Tesla driver instantly and the Fire Truck was badly damaged.

My perfect car is my Honda Fit, but with a Tesla drivetrain.... even if it’s just RWD.

Seriously. Take it from someone who had three speeding tickets by the time they were 18.

The more I’ve been thinking and discussing, there really isn’t any type of car that needs to go electric to convince me to buy electric. Generally speaking, by making a particular make/model into an EV variation would simply ruin it in some ways while making it better in other ways.

Not in the market for a truck or for a new vehicle of any sort for a while, but this should be a wake up call to Tesla. The F-150 is a extremely high selling vehicle and Ford has made an EV version that looks like it, does what an F-150 does and would be something that an F-150 purchaser could/should cross shop.

I came from a 2015 Frontier. First thing to remember is that the 2022 Frontier is no bigger than the last generation. It’s not even a full generation refresh, TBH:

Chargers should go where people would naturally spend a half hour or so. Like stores, restaurants, malls, downtown shopping districts, trail heads, entertainment venues, and of course truck stops/restaurants/coffee shops along major highways/travel routes.

I have to agree.

What does space-efficiency matter when most of that space is unoccupied most of the time? Also, all of these SUVs lose that battle compared to minivans anyway.

I6 Turbos will look better in EPA MPG numbers - but that won’t hold real-world vs. the small block V8.

What’s wrong with preferring a V8? Modern V8s are incredibly efficient, quiet, bigger powerbands, and don’t weigh a whole lot over a V6 or at the least the German ones are...However I am conflicted because I love straight sixes and most sound fantastic, but I think it’s there is a psychological aspect of ‘big

Well, the Cummins is the 2500, and you have the option of either the High-Output Hemi or the I-6 Cummins. The one I have is a 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel. 260hp/480ftlbs.
