Since all we can do is speculate, maybe it just ended up being a shit engine with fundamental problems that could not be overcome with any amount of effort. There are quite a few other engines that could and should have been killed off in development. The 2.4 Ecotec immediately comes to mind.

1. Splitting the bill is usually made simple by letting the waiter know ahead of time. My family often has complex orders with 4 adults/kids in my group, 5 with my BIL, 2 for my in-laws, and usually 2 for whoever is visiting. The host often just makes out 4 checks from the moment drinks are ordered. Some restaurants

I’m willing to bet it was more of a focus-group problem. Truck manufacturers have had a lot of trouble killing off V8s in place of smaller engines that perform better. Why? Insecure men who need the rumble of a V8.

Such a disappointing Toyota, all around.

1. Get the 5 speed.
2. Always have tread on your tires.
3. I know it’s Florida, but don’t put your arm out the window during your driving test.

Well then, hopefully there’s a lot we can agree on.

There’s no line in my driveway, and no time wasted visiting a gas station as my car charges while I sleep. That’s convenience ;)

The planet thanks you.

Legitimately taking numbers from the poster company of over promising and under delivering, and then saying you can do worse.

There have been 18 years of Democrats holding the Presidency since then. Were they all impotent?

I have one of those near me. Shell station, best price in town for Diesel. Diesel barely dribbles out, and I have 48-gallons on-board. Combination gas/diesel pump, so I’ve gotten used to telling other cars not to even bother waiting for me.

One silver lining is that you don’t have to buy a car locally, or even in your own state.

It’s also worth noting that sports cars and sports sedans really aren’t high-volume cars, to begin with; they’re not supposed to be. This goes out to many manufacturers who keep throwing their arms up in the air wondering why these kinds of cars aren’t selling like Nissan Rogues.

I mean, we all know where Volvo sits in a lineup from a Kia to a Bentley. There’s nothing surprising or outlandish about where Polestar sits as a brand. I’ve basically seen Polestar as Volvo’s electric lineup, nothing more, nothing less.

I sound like a broken record, by now. People keep saying that range isn’t as important as faster charging, but as killerhurtalot4 pointed out, charging sucks, except at home.

Let them eat cake.

No, I inactively want it....aka, I don’t give a fuck, but let them mess up their own lives, at this point.

I agree slightly with this article, Range Anxiety is only part of the problem.

instead of focusing on range, they should be working on charging speed.
