Bearing in mind, this article is about SS batteries that will be both lighter and more energy dense, I wouldn’t factor weight any more than I see Tesla’s current options.
Publix Subs or nothing MFs.
Tell that to the girl in HR. She interpreted cheese meant ‘cheesesteak’ and pepperoni meant ‘ultimate pepperoni.’ I ended up having to buy 10 more cheese pizzas because I didn’t have a vegetarian option.
Point 1. Do I need a 750 mile range for a trip I do once a year?
Which leads me to ask, why hasn’t there been a separate generator/power bank on new homes as standard yet? The power company will charge the bank during the day off peak hours, and the Power bank will power the home from 4- 8 or so or when they need to do rolling blackouts. Would that be too much stress on the system?
Three weeks after their purchase, the Johnsons received a call
When I was in college, I built a Frankenstein SE-R Sentra with a 3.5L Maxima motor in it. Here’s an old photobucket link:
Just tap the motor with a hammer...
This cannot be overstated.
So, life lesson. Don’t admit phobias to non-sober idiots.
1. EVs are supposed to be charged from 10-90%, or use 80% of the rated range. ICE cars typically are supposed to be refueled around 20% tank if you don’t want to replace your fuel pump regularly, or using 75% of the range. So, potato, patahto.
Charging time will always matter, but there are other factors to consider.
I agree, a lot of these cars are very specifically what the buyer was looking for, not the one they stumbled upon. Never walk into a dealership with an open mind because the salesman will lead you up to the most bland easy-sell vehicle they have in stock.
I regularly haul lumber and 4X8 sheets of shit, and having stuff hang over a tiny 4' bed would be far less than optimal. And the first time you gotta haul sheetrock and you can’t lay it flat in the bed.
You can’t feed a sheet of plywood in the bed, you can’t fit people inside either. Who is this really for? College kid that needs to move a la-z-boy?
My personal mission and pet peeve. The Maverick isn’t a small truck, it is a mid sized truck, The Ranger is a big truck, and full sized trucks are huge trucks.
...but are they trying? Because it reminds me a lot of stuff like this:
You mean the “government party” that actually abolished slavery and was willing to go to war to enforce abolition?
Like, no one is going to sit inside of McDonalds to study, I don’t care how much free wifi you offer them. People can hate Starbucks all they want, but at the end of the day, they are absolutely spectacular at what they do.
