I would buy this car if it came in full EV form. I’m not buying any more cars with an internal combustion engine, PHEV or no.

Oh, and let’s not forget, Tesla, Tesla Energy, Solar City, SpaceX, and The Boring Company are all heavily subsidized by government money.

Hot take, but his only real success, in my eyes is SpaceX.

I see no difference in what you said and what ikaiyoo said.

Well, that’s a take. I’m not saying that ALL devs are good at their jobs, but they are the talent that fuels the entire structure of a website, app, or service. Someone who has been with the company 5-11 years probably isn’t an idiot....more importantly, they know the system better than anyone who will come after

Apparently Elon broke Twitter’s 2FA yesterday, calling it ‘unnecessary bloatware.’ Big accounts, like corporations, and politicians weren’t able to login.

I don’t even know if age needs to be a factor in this situation. You’re talking about a rural China town, not very many vehicles per capita, except delivery vehicles, bikes, or MAYBE an occasional shit box.

Or worse yet, how long until the security breaches begin? They barely have any security, or moderation, or ability to verify accounts. There’s a lot of manpower involved in running such a site.

I’m thinking this is only the tip of the iceberg. With a lack of a competent security and moderation team, the entire platform could already be compromised, leading to REAL celebrity accounts getting hacked and doing some real damage to the platform, and that’s just assuming nobody has a back door to the website’s

I wouldn’t say it’s cumbersome to switch around apps, I can typically do it in 2 taps, BUT, I do hate having one screen up at a time and then getting notifications from the other app.

Considering such a hostile takeover, I’d really be surprised if they’re all NOT burning the place down on their way out. Intentional bugs, backdoors, leaks, and malware.

Yea, as a Progressive, I would’ve voted ‘No’ as well.

Yea, I’m sorry, but I don’t really see China really penetrating the Western Market any time soon. I don’t mind a few brands/models entering our market and providing us with some reasonable price competition.

But do you ever see it from a drone’s POV?

I am a relatively new owner of a Ram EcoDiesel, which is very similar to the 3.0L Duramax in this story. I mean, I could see not realizing it was a diesel upon start up and some driving. It’s actually very quiet and nothing like the diesel you would expect to hear in a 2500. Many people at my work even commented how

I’ll say that I do REALLY like the idea of getting more solar energy. It’s something I’ve been wanting to roll out at my work (I manage the facility in Tampa and yes, I’m currently waiting out a hurricane). As a qualifier, I have a 1200W solar trailer and I’m about to put about 9.2kW on my home in Feb/Mar ‘23. I’ve

ah yes, the aesthetic brilliance of the parking lot will be affected no end! /s

Good info.
