Same, I hadn’t been on in years. It took me a little while to recover my password just to log in and deactivate my account. I originally opened it as a bot account to help promote my name on Google search results, but it’s been abandoned for years.
So, Twitter is dead, content creators are going to flee, Twitter will become a Q-anon haven, and basically just be another honeypot for the FBI to listen in, just like Parler. Got it.
I can’t account for every state’s rules. That’s why I said “Best practice.”
If you own a personal vehicle that weighs over 26,000lbs and isn’t for a Farm, it’s fair to assume you’re going to be passing through many states, all of which don’t care about your home state’s rules.
Oooh, I’d like to weigh in on this: Yea, never going to happen.
You may be right, I believe it’s the 125% rule. An 80A load needs the wire and breaker to be sized 125% higher.
Well, obviously. Most 200A panels come with a 200A main breaker pre-installed.
You have 6 Miatas? Well, it looks like you have one more than you need:
Taking a quick look, my 200A panel has 300A worth of breakers:
Unfortunately, not enough people see counseling as a helpful tool. I was the same. My wife pushed me to talk to someone, I even pushed her to go back. I used to think that it was all about trying to maintain or suppress disorders, but it’s quite amazing how much my discussions revolve around everyday life. Often it’s…
considering that the Blue Oval will sell one of these things to any geek off the street with no special license or qualifications required.
Not an excuse at all.
Tesla was the first major EV company to the game, but it’s often the first player is never the one to remain on top. As more companies begin to release more and more EVs in more parts of the market, it’s going to be hard for Tesla to compete. Their share of the pie is growing smaller and smaller by the day as people…
You’re forgetting that the 200 Amps coming into the home is three phase power. It’s 200 amps of 240V coming in.
Yes, but if you already have more than 100A of breakers installed an electrician will not install a 100A breaker for your 19KWH car charger. 3 20A wall circuits, a stove and an HVAC and you’re already well over 100A. You gotta have 100A to spare, not 100A total.
Still... that’s a lot from one house, and I could see plugging in your car dimming the lights in the neighborhood for a second unless it has a soft-start and ramps up to that full amperage.
Honestly, though, a plain 6.6Kw charger is probably enough for just about anyone but someone running an Uber car 20/7.
Technically, 80A.
