Oh HamNo - “actual, agreed-upon reality,” is so two thousand and late
Clearly he means El Farolito, as it sits at 24th and Alabama. And he is correct. That El Farolito, and in particular that location of El Farolito, is the best burrito/taco joint in SF, is objective fact.
I don’t know if you meant this as a cunnilingus joke, but you’re getting a star from at least one person who took it as one.
Probably a fair criticism but it’s hard to tell without hearing the tone with which those comments were delivered - I can imagine the exact quote that appears in the story being delivered in a way that makes clear her primary focus is on the moral aspect.
[Narrator voice] It’s Never
“I heard that one time, people were probably doing it for the wrong reasons” (hey, houses have food in them too) is not proof, or even particularly good evidence, that “most people do it out of being pure scumbags.”
He is pathologically obsessed with public attention. “How many people are watching?” is the first, last and only question of any relevance. He can’t turn it off.
I guess I don’t understand the ‘self-loathing’ you’re projecting onto him. A racist like Arpaio is never going to see the commonalities you’re seeing. After all, his parents came here legally, on a boat from Europe with other white people who all became hard-working grocers and definitely not criminals, capisce?
(1) so he can at least pretend to run for office again; (2) you’re probably right about this one, although his extreme contempt for a fellow judge’s orders (not to mention all of the brown parts of the public he was claiming to serve) might have motivated some jail time; (3) I disagree with this one; if there’s one…
The name, like Joe’s parents, is from Italy.
I don’t understand this comment. The pardon was a win-win-win for Arpaio. (1) no conviction on his record; (2) no possibility of having to spend time in jail, where his claim to fame as a ‘tough’ sheriff who abused, degraded and humiliated jail inmates would have put him at serious risk of getting the shit beat out of…
Early 1990s Georgetown point guard Joey Brown.
We’re gonna get tired of Wenning, aren’t we?
Taking the past three years as a whole, the Saints have had far and away the worst defense in the entire NFL.
I don’t know, all that yelling is liable to make her a little hoarse
This is why he won’t clearly denounce white supremacists. He so desperately craves adulation that not only will he take it wherever he can get it - once it is given, he will never risk fully alienating those supplying it.
Um. Second degree murder is (a) a very serious felony and (b) probably the appropriate charge.
If you are cheesing your burger with a cheese that will adequately become melted just by sticking it on a recently-cooked patty, it is you, sir, who are cheesing your burger wrong. Although you are not the first.
At least we still have the mystery of why a mermaid would flip off an octomonkey.
