I know there's a lot of talk about the character Piper exemplifying white privilege on the show, but I'm glad that the real Piper is actively using her privilege to improve conditions for women currently incarcerated.

It's funny, because before bloggers were a thing, musicians complained about critics being cynics and not being fans. If there's one thing a lot of big artists don't seem to be good at, it's accepting criticism. Since Gaga has successfully marketed herself to iconic levels, her millions of fans will more or lap up…
I have no idea why people like this woman. It's like she's going for some 70s-era Bowie idea but forgets that she lacks any of the talent to pull it off. Her whole career is ridiculous shoes, terrible music and an overwhelming sense of entitlement.
The Fame Monster was AMAZING and everything she has put out since has sucked. Born this Way was so cliche and Madonna-rip off. I also sometimes feel like her relationship with the LGBT community is almost like shes using them to sell albums. Ugh she just seems so contrived.
As soon as a celeb gets called out on bullshit, it's "ignore the 'internet' critics"; as if opinions matter more if you're employed to give them.
Maybe she's just upset because "Applause" sucks. I've never been a fan, but her music 'till now has at least been catchy and fun and kitschy. "Applause" is flat and awful.
I have never liked her. And honestly nothing she does is going to make me like her.
I really liked her first album. It was fun and easy. Then it seems like she, or her team, decided she was some sort of cultural icon. I don't think anyone told them that you don't get to decide to be an icon. Now it feels so rigid and artificial that there is no more joy in her music for me.
how do we make her go away again? I was just beginning to enjoy the radio again...
I thought she was gone for good. Fuck.
Ugh no one tries harder than lady gaga.
Oh yay, Rihanna, more guns. Good for you.
There's nothing quite as attractive as someone being exactly who they want to be.
The wrongness of this fills me with so much rage I can barely type. Somebody minding their own business, doing something totally, normal, natural and legal and some little jobsworth shit laying down the law with their smug, "can't you see how indecent public breastfeeding is" bullshit. And they just will not listen to…
Geeze, Burleson Recreation Center, give it a breast.
Transformers.
Maybe instead of this article you could write, about non white designers who showcase lots of non white models, or instead of talking about fashion at all we could talk about the significant pay gap between white women and non white women. But then that would actually involve something more other than, ooo that's so…
And yet how often during various fashion weeks doesn't Jezebel feature just about every show from the main designers? You're willing to get hits and advertising dollars from these all (or mostly) white shows, and bring them publicity. Why not be the first group to take a stand and not have any articles about any…
