I think what's lousy is that Tamra is the only black person on the show (regularly) so her attitude/character seems like a stereotype. Thing is though, I've known lots of girls like Tamra. If there were more than one black person on the show and they were all different, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. I like Tamra…

I always thought that Mindy's aloofness was pretty clear. Like, she's definitely racist, but she doesn't realize or understand it. Like a lot of white people, and people who aren't white but grow up privileged.
