Added to this, here’s another quotation by the apparently esteemed Oriana Fallaci.

Are you really trying to make feminism a male movement or something? I don’t get what you mean by this but feminism is not some male-equality thing. It’s for women. INCLUDING TRANS OBVIOUSLY but it’s not a trans-first movement which is what my goddamn friends are starting to say.

OK CAN YOU ALL PLEASE STOP...

I’m not saying they do I’m just saying they shouldn’t. Listen, I have trans friends, ok? I love trans persons. But all of them want to control the conversation and direction of feminism. Maybe it’s just my friends but I see the same thing on Twitter. And Facebook too. Honestly how are you not seeing this?

All for trans inclusivity but no reason for them to have an outsized voice in a movement that they are only 15% of. Feminism has always been about females. Stay focused.

I think it’s usually the opposite. Like Facebook was all for college kids once. Now it’s for grandmas. Twitter is dominated by old men suffering from dementia (OK maybe just one of those...) But Tumblr seems to have gotten younger. A lot of fan sites and fanfic.

Random internet conspiracy theory: maybe the box is empty, and he keeps his weed in it.

He died??!

he’s a “no thanks, save the bag” shopper. they walk among us.

Isn’t “being thirsty” the gravest sin the gravest sin a celibrity can comit? You can be ambitious, but don’t let it show

I’m going to reserve judgment on Meghan Markle until her half-sister’s ex sister-in-law’s podiatrist weighs in. That’s the only way to really know her.

Love it, adding it to my lexicon.

Haha, no. That requires coordination.

Fergus explained to CNN the importance of wiping out this debt, saying that parents are prohibited from applying for need-based, reduced-price lunches when they owe money, so they continue to accrue it. She added that some families owe as much as $1,000 for school lunches.

To me, the issue is that it’s not traumatizing to be called a boy or a girl. The issue is when, as a young child, a girl wants to to something and you say, “No that’s for boys” or a boy wants to do something and you go, “That’s a girl thing!”

This is fucking cool. It’s a damn shame a man had to be murdered before it could happen.

But the reality is, your kid could grow up to be any gender.

I don’t think this has anything to do with guts or racism or anything like that. After watching all the nominees, I felt comfortable saying that Three Billboards, Dunkirk, and The Shape of Water were in the top tier with Get Out in the second tier. Get Out is a great movie that I’ve seen twice now, but the other three

I will take Matt Damon’s white savior over traveling with Tom Hanks any day.

The secret is to replace butter with “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Phenazapam”.
