I’m incredibly happy for Toyota and Alonso and you’re right they can’t control the competition. With that said it’s still a pretty weak field after the Toyota LMP1. I put the blame solidly on the FIA and the WEC. A ton of peeps racing prototypes in the US but the French have to be French and stick to their guns.

Stoked for Toyota but this whole season of WEC LMP1 should have an asterisk next to it.

For the casual fan it’s a dead period but us motorheads are still all over it, it’s just different. I’m all for a festival though, it should be in Scranton cause I’ve been told ain’t no party like a Scranton party.

I’m old from a time long ago called Lucas Electronics. Ain’t no old guy got any time for a British car!

Oh man I’m so in, I just need 5000 more!

For me the only thing worth buying that isn’t a Porsche gt3 would be a Ferrari 488. Everyone else is just playin.

So how much without the training cause I’m a little bit short of 1.3 large and I’m like really, really, fast already.

Jalopniks love to decry any car that doesn’t offer a manual trans cause it’s not “connected” enough but can’t wait to hop into an automonous über.

I threw you a star for recommending a Chrysler product for a reliable product. Those dudes that do those studies about cars are soooo fake news. Bravo to you!

I ordered the standard one and gave them my cc# just waiting to hear back from Stuttgart. Hopefully the $1200.00 limit on my card doesn’t slow things down.

Detroit, Belle Island!

Hellooooo Long Beach Grand Prix!

This year has been pretty interesting.

But the 919 Porsche LMP1 did just break the F1 track record at Spa so there is that.

Except Blue voters in CA are stupid but Red voters in WY aren’t so there’s always that.

Just get’em powder coated some cool color, buy after market wheels, or choose different wheels when you order it. I doubt they’ll only offer 1 wheel style.

Or a Mendola but either way it’s some money.

Most everyone in CA is rejoicing at this time. No one is happy following a Prius doing 62 mph in the HOV lane while the freeway is doing 70. I think Toyota makes them sign some kind of annoying driver clause in return for a year of free maintenance.

I was totally screwing around but thanks for the insight!

If they don’t offer a dual clutch trans with paddle shifters it’s a waste of money. A manual is so last century.
