A 996, a Cayman or a Boxster. All are cars that can be found for under 30k. Heck, Boxsters can be found under 15k all day long. The rule generally is buy the best 911 you can afford. The 996 is a lot of car for under 30 grand. 2002 or newer 996 or 2003 or newer boxster are the ones but everyone knows that so prices

LOL. Okay I get the point.

She looks a bit like a Cheetah as well.

But realistically all in you really aren’t. Brakes, cage, seat, fire suppression, wheels, tires, it’s already there. You also get great shocks, drop ends and sway bars (I figure that’s a sticking point) but this is on a 20-23 year old car and yes you can seriously find them for 5k on racing junk. Shoot man that's less

You’re right, I get it now but I think for me and my budget I’m better off sticking to the Calspeed Karting team endurance and ironman series, at least for now.

So instead of racing a platform with lots of affordable go fast parts and support you need to race something unique with very little aftermarket support. Okaaay now I get it. Cheap car but expensive to maintain cause being different is priceless.

You can buy a “decent” older spec Miata for 5 to 8 grand. I've been told miatas are frowned on in LeMons. Why is that, do they make too much sense?

Yep! For me the 135i nailed it, this thing is atrocious.

Or to leave the traction control turned on. This is exactly why I never turn off my TC in my 69 Camaro.

From what I’ve seen once any race car loses it in the rain it’s a done deal.

Falkens LOVE the rain!

I think what happened was that they forgot to call Sabine to drive. The rest of us are merely squires and court jesters in the Queens Kingdom.

Yep, 911 owners are tired of hearing about the Cayman, time to get the 911 beating up on the little brother!

I don’t think so, Porsche is dedicated to being the finest engineered sports cars on earth, thus the elimination of a manual transmission on the Gt3 and the RS. Porsche fans and owners understand this as we’ve gone through many changes including water cooled engines, Suv’s and now a full line of 911's with turbos. If

I figured that but I was too lazy to look it up. 25whp would still put you about 10:1. 😊

I'm not a big fan of good ol ballistic but I'm stoked Toyota is back, just wished it was with someone else. At least it's not RG. 😜😜

1 horsepower for every 10 pounds is kinda the beginning of the “fun zone” thus 250 hp in a 2500 pound car.

Yep! Porsche killing it in the rain.

I’m positive that Patrick Motorsports will be putting them in 914's so after that it's not much of a stretch to put into a bug. Jack Raby is already putting Subies in bugs so it's probably more possible than you think.
