It can't possibly be Nick's fault cause Porsche! 😜

You can catch WEC races on either nbcs or cbss but it's a really lame broadcast and butchered all to heck. Sometimes they don't even show the checkered flag they just tell you about it. Ugh, hopefully we won't just get the shows but we will get good shows.

1. A modern turbo flat four swapped into a 914 would be amazing.

He's vocal, driven and highly confident that's for sure. I don't really consider myself an RG fan but what he does with 1 car team and a minimal budget against the factory supported, wealthy, multi-car teams is amazing. He reminds me of a good old fashioned American Cowboy.

Coma had a 21 minute lead after Goncalves got the engine swap penalty. From that stage on Coma rode very conservatively and of course Goncalves was really pushing. Barreda must be so bummed.

The Speed Energy Team on the Podium after finishing 19th overall and 1st in class

Lunch Time on the go!

Way back in the day a pinto wth cut coils in front and lowering blocks in the rear was pretty dang sporty, As in kicking BMW 2002's rear end.

Or trolling.

This cab and bed configuration gives the raptor the closest wheel base to that of a Trophy Truck which is what years of racing in Baja over Baja terrain dictates as the most efficient.

I did over 7,000 miles of off road in Baja, prerunning, chasing, and goofing off in my raptor and no problem at all. (Yes, hang time was involved) I seriously doubt your story.

This is like asking if Porsche fixed their IMS issues. It's done and in the past plus a Bunch of kits to eliminate the problem on the older trucks. The main issue is you can't treat a $50k truck like a $350k trophy truck no matter how awesome your redneck driving skills are.

The Baja 1000 is very much the same thing. Only 2-3 teams in the top class will have a "clean" run. After that it's a war of attrition and the battle is against Baja. 500 miles in finishing is the goal of probably 75% of the teams. 1140 miles is a LONG ways to beat on a vehicle and the terrain in Baja is torn up from…

Where do you get the idea that the Baja 1000 is a cruise down the beach? A lot of ignorance showing right there. The Baja Mil covers MUCH rougher terrain than in South America. I can't even imagine trying to actually race the Peugeot in the San Felipe area of Baja. Those things kick like a mule over tiny kickers. Holy…

I think it had more to do with Memo staying on the gas while everyone else around him was braking and diving to the inside of the track he seemed to do the opposite. He stayed on the gas and headed to the outside. Look! I found a great line to pass these suckers, oops!

Memo thinks to himself: "why is everyone slowing and moving to the inside?"

Stage 6. It's lunch time again. Apparently eating at well established food franchises is the smart tip while racing a two week race in South America.

It's was actually the rear brakes that said adios but that's still super funny. Funny in a witty ha ha way, not funny in a "we're already out of the over -all sort of way" for a bunch of us that was a huge downer.

There are classes covered by stringent rules set by the fia. It's a french deal, of course there are boat loads of rules!

Dos Mcbirria con queso por favor.
