You can, it's called a 996. 😀

I guess, but Porsches playbook has been pretty much that way from the beginning except for maybe the 914.

According to Porsche president Matthias Muller the entry level Porsche can be found in their pre-owned department. Porsche considers the preowned market to be their entry level which is how most people get into Porsches to begin with. FYI. I love Porsches!!!

The PCA sends out monthly emails that communicate everything Porsche but especially how the company is doing sales wise and what the factory is up to. The "entry level" Porsche is dead but what is in the works is a mid-engine model to slot in to the void between the 919 and the 911 in both price and performance. If a…

I don't think running with Dempsey is exactly a good thing...............

it makes great sense as Porsche's #1 sales market is the good ol USA but I think he's fully committed to the GT program at Le Mans.

personally I'd be more worried about working on a new Bugatti then an old one

Go buy yourself a 996 Turbo and enjoy the ride.

He's a bit squirrelly and I not sure if the WEC will be as patient as alms and Tudor series participants have been.

Jason, I can help, hit me up. I slept in a holiday inn express last night. I got this!

I need to crowd source a Caterham

The turbo generally gets ordered with a "full leather" interior, it ain't that bad. That interior and some of the other early 2000's design cues are exactly why a 99tt weighs 175 pounds less than a 997 or 991 turbo.

I have 996 TT right now and I absolutely love it. Shopping and dreaming about what's the next car is a big part of being a car guy but for now that would be pure adultry. I can't get enough of my turbo!

Awe nuts. Last 20 years. I'm such a nimrod.

Any F1 flying through the air on purpose.

Any modern LMP1 but I'm partial to Porsches.

Pretty much any vintage F1 or F5000

This is the beauty that makes my heart leap!

Yep, and now if Toyota develops a GTE version to run with their LMP1 at Le Mans the hype meter will be off the charts!

I have a completely stock 2002 turbo with the X50 and tiptronic with 37,000 miles that I paid 41 grand for. On the last canyon run meetup I did I was glued to the back of a 458 Italia. Try finding a reliable car for 41 grand that can harass a 458. 😜😛
