First off for the confused the 996 turbo engine is a Mezger. I'm not gonna waste time educating you, look it up, the Mezger is bulletproof and a Daytona 24 and Le Mans winner, BULLETPROOF! I like the headlights, they set the 996 apart and the Tahoe interior looks funky but the turbo is a model mostly covered in

Shoulda been 997. Now you know why my name is nimrod!

Right now one of the best values in the Porsche world is a 996 Turbo. Mezger engine, bulletproof and a boat load of AWD performance for 40-45K with very similar numbers to the 996 turbo.

Will you guys just shutup already. I'm shopping for one right now and Magnus blah blah blah on jalopnik blah blah blah, that'll be 10 grand more please. 😜

I'd loan you my 911 Turbo but id have to kill you if I saw you playing hot wheels and ping pong on the tail. 😜

You can build a nice gt3 for 150 large. It won't have leather but it will have a ton of go parts and a pretty sweet sound system. That's Pretty much all I'd need in a 911 anyways. Oh by the way. A 996 turbo weighs 300 pounds more and if you find an x50 option model it has 30 more hp with out a tune and all wheel drive

From all the reviews I've read the Macan seems to truly have Porsche in its blood. Reviewers are saying that it's as much fun as a boxster on a track. Crazy.

To me there is a difference between the Sport utilities and the sports cars. The SUV's and their sales make VW happy while the sports cars make Porsche happy. I for one absolutely love my entry level Porsche: 2002 996 Turbo with X50 option and 37,000 miles. I paid $40,500 for it and it will eat a 997 GT3 for lunch.

Why can't someone build one here instead of the UK? 25,000 pounds is great but the translation to US dollars is not so great.

You know 996 Turbos are trading in the 38-$52,000 range. That pretty much trumps both of these. Find a low mileage X50 optioned one, throw a mild tune on it and have a 520 hp all wheel drive rocket ship for 48 large all in and you can hangtough with every 911 turbo out there including the 991.

I'm just gonna buy a Camry and put coilovers on it.

I'm constantly amazed at how guys keep going for it in the rain. You would think that once the engineer calls and says "hey cars are spinning all over the place, slow waaaaay down" that they would slow waaaaay down. I've seen this in every series that races in the rain, guys just flat out blowing it. It makes me

Anyone can own one and race a Trophy Truck. Call up Geiser Brothers and hand them 500k and you're in. Keeping it running and having the team to do that is the hard part.

Mary baker 7 over and out.

Ferrari is too busy ignoring people who buy "cheap" used Ferrari's so as to uphold their position of superiority while simultaneously selling Ferrari backpacks, shoes, and mouse pads to everyone in the world than to have time to mess with you Doug.

Sure, but I'm not positive about how much of it will be left when I'm done with it.........

Isn't it about time that a Ferrari v12 gets shoved into a wrangler????

It's awesome and I love it! She uses about a quart of oil in between services but no drips or leaks and still running like a champ! The interior has held up awesome too.

My 2002 Tacoma has well over 200,000 miles. Can I have this one when you're done with it?
