I’ve been listening to the Newcomers podcast where they’ve been covering Scorsese’s most well-known movies, and they’ve noted that a lot of them came out in December.

I believe Django Unchained was also a Christmas or near Christmas release. I know I saw it in a sold-out theater on Christmas night with parents and girlfriend.

It’s amazing that the fandom of Swift, one of the most popular, rich, and powerful people in pop-culture, relies almost entirely on seeing her as a victim or at least constantly in danger of being victimized. 

Those were the matinee prices LOL. For my wife, 3 kids, and one extra kid. And while she could have easily told my kids, “no snacks, you expensive little crotch-fruit,” you sure can’t do that if one of them has a guest, so that was part of the bill.

Maybe Lily Rose Depp’s character will be silent, as an homage the original silent movie version?

It’s a bit like how Dave Barry used to make fun of those cereal ads that showed a bowl of cereal next to eggs, toast, and fruit claiming that the cereal was “part of this complete breakfast!” As Barry said, don’t you really mean “adjacent to this complete breakfast”?
