Kotaku readers will tell you that anything with “E” and “A” involved is typically bad for you.

Getting up early, grabbing your bag from the overhead, then returning to your seat (and following the above rules) shouldn’t be frowned upon at all. We all need to understand that the idiotic airlines have forced us into using overhead bins too much, so we’re all in this together.

Oh, right, I forgot that doing good doesn’t count if you have means.

Huh. Haven’t played HS in a fair bit, but I remember Brian “Please don’t call me ‘Brian ‘Brian Kibler’ Kibler’” Kibler, he was alright. Kudos to him; I know not everyone can afford to make that kind of move, but kudos to those that do when they can.

Just dive down deeper in gutter mode and think about where people are really going to be placing these pods

I’m disappointed no one used this

As a trained Crisis Negotiator, I can tell you... Never say the words calm down. In context to this article Orenstein said, “‘I can’t really listen to you when you are throwing things. But I would be glad to listen when you calm down.’”. This is what we would call trigger, an express phrase we are trained not to say.

Bernie: “None of us know when a medical emergency might affect us. And no one should fear going bankrupt if it occurs. Medicare for All!”

GOP: THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR POLITICS AND IT IS DISHONEST TO USE THIS SITUATION TO PUSH AN AGENDA

Learning the structure is (fairly) easy. Developing style within that structure remains the more elusive skill, for sure. The difficulty lies in the fact that developing style often depends upon the writer knowing the rules well enough to know when/how to bend or break them for rhetorical effect without sacrificing

Both can be true.

Reminds me of a research paper with thesis statements.  Once I learned the structure my papers became a breeze to write but I couldn't discover the knack to make them interesting.

Lovely.

I love the mention of the boxes. Anyone who purchased one of the infamous “Battle Chests” or one of the three expansions for World of Warcraft with their big heavy manuals would know.

I find it “ironic” that we are getting a lesson in proper writing when many online news articles today do not follow classic journalism article standards.

Standing in line.  Cue jokes about not knowing the difference between queue and cue.

Ditto. Not since birth, but for most of my life. I can’t NOT see Spanish words now. When I make my grocery lists, I write fresas because I’m lazy.

Those poor Hispanic cattle, always being confused by idiots for a delightful deviation from their norms.

I’m just glad people stopped spelling it “Vaca” because it just looked weird. But it could have been a huge coup for Vacaville, California, to open a huge slew of resorts and become a major destination. Hint: Nope.

But do you call her Boss? 😁

Don’t estate taxes only kick in at super ridiculously large amounts (like 5 million dollars or something like that)?
