That's that advantage of sandboxing. Chrome runs each tab as a separate process to prevent one individual tab from hanging the entire app. To prevent that Firefox would have to be rebuilt to sandbox tabs as well (which at this point it could be, I haven't used FF in yeeeeaaars, but I don't believe that's the case).

The potential for quality sound is higher with an external sound card vs internal, simply because with an external card you're not dealing with potential interference from all the other electronically noisy components in your case.

Me too! You're not my fiancee using a fake account, are you? :P

Ahah! Enabling the "show tab bar" is what I was missing. Works great now, thanks!

How? I've been aching for this feature and can't get it to work? Splitting's fine, but merging back into tabs?

Congratulations: you're old!

CrashPlan is much easier! $80 a year for unlimited space. Or if you can get at least three friends together you can split a family plan for even cheaper! I got in on their half-off family plan deal around Black Friday and am paying $20 for a year of backup as I'm splitting it with three friends.

As one of the Backblaze reps said above, the moral to take away from this is that all hard drives fail and you should always have a (if not many) backup!

WHAT KIND OF A MAD MAN ASSEMBLES A SANDWICH LIKE THIS!?!!

WHAT KIND OF A MAD MAN ASSEMBLES A SANDWHICH LIKE THIS!?!?!

On top of that, a decent sound card/DAC. I've been using the DAC built into my $180 flatscreen TV from Amazon as my main decoder the last year and I'm seriously suffering - movie are tolerable, but the difference between music coming out of that and even my $200 NI Audio Kontrol 1 from 2006 is mind blowing. Few things

I live in a household of two and spend maybe $20 of toilet paper every couple months. I believe your "pennies" analogy to be accurate, but not much more than that.

In years past, perhaps. How both the HDD/SSD and memory are non-upgradable. And what on earth are you considering user-repairable in a MacBook?

Hah, I grew up down the street from the Gables, on Daniels St Ct! It's cool to be able to come back to visit now and actually be able to go to the Pig's Eye. Such a small neighborhood, I feel like I probably must've run into you if we were there around the same time (me: 1986-2004).

Yes, what if psychics were just making it all up.... what if.... You've really cracked open something big here.

That's correct - it's called downmixing.

Gotta put my two cents in and say that I've been a customer of Mechanics' for a couple years now and they're great! Easy customer service and they got me setup with a credit card when no one else would due to my piss-poor student-level credit at the time. Their online banking and auto-transfers setup real easy too.

Obviously, you're not a golfer.

Yep, that was our plan too, however they conveniently informed us we could not use the external account at the same time when they suspended invites, which have now been suspended for around a month. Totally fucked up our rent payment. Plus a transfer I initiated which Simple said would complete on Tuesday (yesterday)
