I completely agree. I’ll soon have the ability to route any signal to either display, but for the time being the 48" is for PC gaming and the 85" is reserved for the consoles.

It depends on the application. On my desk in my office I have a 48" and it is plenty big. In my theater I have an 85" which is already pushing the limits of the space yet I’m already plotting how I can go even larger.
That’s awesome but my point is that those of us who would pay those kinds of prices (at that screen size) are in the minority.
You want visual quality and advanced features, and frankly so do I...but are you prepared to pay for it when that 42" TV costs $1000 (if not more)?
I’m not sure how you could have possibly missed it if you were playing from launch. At launch the game was a complete mess, with constant crashes, freezes, and too many bugs to list here. It was so bad that DICE had to issue a public mea culpa for the state of the game. EA eventually had to step in and announce that…
I’ve been playing this on Xbox again and I forgot how low the resolution is. It looks like complete ass at 720p with no AA to speak of, but I have to admit that with the addition of 120Hz it plays like a dream.
I’m not a snob about the games themselves, but I am most definitely a snob about the hardware I use. I generally won’t even bother unless I’m playing on top shelf equipment. This goes for both the gaming gear itself as well as the AV gear it’s hooked up to. I’m simply unsatisfied with anything less than the best…
If you can’t find a single compelling thing to play on any one of the major consoles there are only 2 possible conclusions: either you are an ultra die hard fanboy or you simply don’t want to find anything to play.
Not really my kind of thing but I'm not gonna lie...that looks better than I expected it to.
Do you remember at the launch of last gen when Sony mocked Microsoft by showing how easy it was to share games by handing a disc to a friend? It’s kind of on that level. No uninstalling/reinstalling is required. The uploading, downloading, version transitioning, etc. of updates all happen under the hood you pretty…
My Vive Pro doesn’t rely on onboard processing and is wireless, but I had to purchase a $300 wireless adapter on top of what was already an expensive setup in order to gain that functionality.
Ahhhhh, what you are talking about is called CEC (consumer electronics control) and this makes waaaaaay more sense now, and while they are separate technologies TV manufacturers often tie them together. Your game consoles definitely do this but PC’s rarely utilize CEC.
Just a bit of clarification since you made this argument twice...
For me a large portion of it is video. Over the last couple of years I have digitized practically my entire bluray and 4K movie library. It’s a MASSIVE collection of films and takes up a hideous amount of storage (not to mention how much time it took to rip them all!). The rest is mostly backups of a couple PC’s and…

Same here. 12TB is amateur hour in this house.

Xbox consoles don’t have bluetooth support. Controllers connect to the Xbox using the Microsoft wireless protocol. It’s the same with wireless headsets.
Came to the comments for this was not disappointed.
Cool can’t wait to play through this again!

I love me some raytracing, but i'm not going to drop to 30fps for it. PC it is then.
