That’s easy as pie, but there’s simply no point to doing so.

I’ve never played a flight sim but play all FPS games inverted + Legacy thumbstick controls for maximum mind fuckery. I tried changing years ago but it was an epic failure and now I mostly don’t bother with any game that doesn’t offer both of these options unless it’s on Xbox where I can bind thumbsticks however I

They did the bare minimum they needed to in order to get the console out the door on time. Yes, it’s half baked, but I doubt it’s because they don’t care about user needs.

I wish there was a way to remap or disable this button but Sony has decided that is a bridge too far. This is part of why I threw the DS4 in a drawer years ago and never touched it again. The dualsense is a significantly better controller overall but I’d do the same with that one if there was a viable alternative.

I agree with you that a fraud claim would be somewhat wishy washy, but this is a pretty solid example of unjust enrichment. The bans are justified.

Sony has always made powering off unnecessarily fiddly, and the complexity of my system basically makes CEC a non starter. Thankfully lazy people such as myself can automate this nonsense with a Harmony remote.

+1 for thinking outside the box by removing the PS4 from the environment entirely via a long HDMI cable.

Agreed. A DataVac or similar is essential for electronics maintenance. Compressed air canisters are just asking for trouble.

I wish more people understood this.

What a pathetic waste of time.

I played standing on release day for the experience. I then ordered a stool off of Amazon and have been playing seated ever since. There are some games I definitely wouldn’t want to play seated, but when it comes to Alyx I can’t say I have a single regret.

They said that PS4 would be getting timed access to dlc MONTHS before the game came out.

Totally agree about the need for a proper play space. This will be a non negotiable requirement for my next home.

Thx I’ve been looking for a reason to revisit GTA V and this fits the bill.

Yes. Google xbox game sharing. It’s kind of convoluted but it works.

I bough the original Elite controller on launch day because they advertised it as being completely customizable. Turns out that wasn’t exactly true. You couldn’t remap the thumbsticks so that you could swap them on a per axis basis, i.e. swap just the x or y axis on the the thumbsticks....which was the one thing I

+1. The Elite controller is the best gaming accessory I’ve ever bought, but the Brook adapter is the best accessory for an accessory I’ve ever bought.

If it’s better than my current Elite’s I will buy them and price be damned. If not, I won’t. Simple as that.

Two things come to mind: Skyrim and the Souls games. I think I’ve bought just about every version of these games on pretty much every platform.

I respect Google’s technical prowess but there is no way this is going to be successful, at least here in the US. Any system that wants to compete with the big boys yet relies on game streaming as a cornerstone of their service is simply doomed to failure...both now and for the foreseeable future.
