I am assuming that your picture is of the K95 sans RGB. I assure you the RGB version is lacking this.

You are not the first person to mention LED issues to me. I don’t blame you for steering clear after having so many issues, but my understanding is that they have now addressed this. I realize it’s anecdotal, but I haven’t had an issue with either of my K keyboards.

I’m not an MMO gamer, but I mainly use the macro keys for handy shortcuts. Opening frequently used programs an whatnot.

I should have mentioned the exposed keys in my original post. It really is nice to be able to clean dust out (and in my case pet hair) without having to pull all the keycaps.

I have the red switches on my K95 and K70 and like them immensely but I think it really just boils down to personal preference. I’m sure I would like the Browns just as much.

Thanks for the heads up!

Before getting my first Corsair keyboard (the K70) I owned a Blackwidow. Mine didn’t die I just thought it was underwhelming and I gave it to a friend. OTOH I’ve owned other Razer products over the years though that didn’t last even a reasonable amount of time. I agree, never again.

The backlighting really is that good. You can do way more than just assign a specific color to individual keys. You can have it be reactive (have keys change colors based on keypresses), or set up lighting effects like fades pulses, waves and such. There can be a bit of a learning curve setting up more complicated

I also have a K70 (non RGB) on my secondary PC. I agree typing on them feels great!

No USB passthrough unfortunately. This had no impact on me as I opt for a wireless 360 controller when necessary.

Glad to hear they’re doing away with it. I have no idea what they were thinking, and I can’t believe there was actually a person who gave it the green light in the first place.

I’ve been playing FPS’s for a long time, and I’ve got to say that I can’t believe teabagging is still a thing in 2015. It was ridiculous when I first started seeing people doing it years ago and hasn’t exactly improved with age.

You don’t buy Sonos just for the speakers. That’s kind of the whole point. If buying a set of speakers is your thing there are a million manufacturers of speakers out there, and you could go with any one that you like.

No, I’m not. You know that bittering agent in the canned air you tried huffing? It doesn’t magically disappear as you dust. This is not an uncommon complaint about canned air.

I hate this crap and stopped using it years ago. A quality electric duster is a significantly larger investment but will give markedly better performance, doesn’t run out, and won’t leave a residue on your stuff.

It was intentional. Apple and Sonos have their similarities.

Why do you make the assumption that sound quality is the only metric by which Sonos be judged? Also, why are you making a comparison between speakers + components and a soundbar?
