I've got a lot of toys, but right now my two current gamer favorites are my monitors (3 X VG278HE's) and my DXRacer chair. I was initially skeptical of spending so much on a chair that's not a Herman Miller, etc. but I have to admit it's comfortable enough to sit in for hours at a stretch and I can easily take a nap

Neat, but I already have something similar. I call it my office.

The Emperor 1510 pictured in this thread costs about 6 grand, it's big brother costs about 22 grand, and if I remember correctly MWElabs also makes an ultimate version that costs around 50 large.

I don't completely disagree with you, but comparing the capabilities of the original xbox to the one isn't really fair. The technology used to render games advances independently of the resolution used to display the image on your screen.

I've been enjoying the alpha quite a bit for the last few days, but I have to say that with the exception of Lance Reddick all of the voice acting in the game has been mediocre at best (most NPC's), and downright atrocious at worst (Peter Dinklage WTF are you doing?!?). I don't expect Oscar worthy performances in the

Of course not, but I would bet a significant amount of money that the definite exposure and prestige inherent from having suck a high profile composer attached to your project would go quite a ways towards offsetting any concerns over hypothetical future litigation.

Not a chance. Marty O'Donnell is one of, if not the most recognized video game composers in the world. Somehow I expect that he's gonna be just fine.

Totally aside from the overall point of this post, I'm giving it a +1 for use of the word "naught".

You know...I could be wrong but I don't remember my controllers coming with micro USB cables, just a couple AA batteries. I'm about 90% certain of this.

The play and charge kit for the 360 controller only sends power to the controller. The Xbox one kit sends both power and data.

The xbox one controller will pull juice directly from the USB port without batteries.

np happy to clarify.

More comfortable for you, not necessarily for everyone else.

No wired version, yes to the usb port, and rechargeable battery and micro usb cable.

You can use any micro USB and it will work just fine, including the one from the play and charge kit.

Goat Simulator is pretty sweet. This will just make it even better.

I must be the extreme minority because I love buying a new car. I actually enjoy the negotiating process, though I refuse to deal with anyone who moves beyond negotiation into intimidation or bait and switch tactics.

It's a cheap desk that was made by Ameriwood. I'm pretty sure it's discontinued nowadays.

I'm extremely thankful they went with the design they did. When it comes to my theater I want devices that are practical and functional....if I'm looking for a work of art I'll visit a museum.
