I like the Animus one and would change to it in an instant if it was available in Surround resolutions. Oh well.

A decent surround sound receiver will let you bypass the 5.1 matrixing for 2 channel sources if that is your preference. It's possible to have the best of both worlds.
You are not the only one.
Decent 5.1 speakers for computers are going the way of the dinosaurs. I have a surround sound headset but for practical reasons only use it with my laptop when out and about. For my desktop I've come to the realization that a dedicated home theater setup is quickly becoming the best (if not yet only) way forward.
There's no such thing as perfect security, but if you're the only one with the master password and the only place it's stored is in your head I would think you can assume that it's reasonably safe. It's certainly more robust than using a template scheme.
I am aware of the things that directors like Cameron and Jackson are striving for and I don't doubt that it is eventually the future, but I do doubt that this is coming as a standard anytime soon. It going to remain a novelty for at least the next decade, and probably significantly longer. There's a lot of things that…
I have serious doubts that movies are going to universally transition to 60fps anytime soon. There are too many purists out there, and they don't necessarily want the 'cinematic experience' to more closely mimic the way that our eyes perceive the world.
6 core i7's are readily available. 8 core consumer i7's will be here soon.
I wish more people understood this.
Your mindset mirrors my own. I want the Rift, and from the day it was announced I had every intention of buying at least one at release, but unfortunately that idea is now effectively dead. I simply will not allow a single dollar that I control to go towards the success of Facebook, however small that contribution may…
The Rift just keeps looking better and better and probably has a healthy future ahead of it. Having said that, I'm still not getting one. ~shrugs~
I'm sure the Rift is going to be amazing when it comes out, all the more so now that they will basically have bottomless funding, but as of last night I no longer have any interest in the device. C'est la vie.
You may have updated your remote just prior to Logitech updating their database, but the codes are definitely in there now. I use my Xbox with the Harmony Ultimate on a daily basis, but I have also successfully programmed the codes into a 650, 700, 890, and 900. You will be fine, though given the complexities of how…
I'm a little confused here as Harmony remotes support the Xbox One, and have pretty much since launch day.
There are IR to Bluetooth adapters that can work around this issue with universal remotes and the PS3.
The stepfather had every right. His house, his rules.
EA has plenty of legitimate problems, but I just can't bring myself to vote for them here. In my eyes there are several companies in the bracket that are much more deserving of this award.
Now that I'm at home....
I considered the Obutto Revolution at one point and changed my mind It is certainly cheaper and I have nothing against them I just don't care for them aesthetically...though if I was looking for a racing cockpit it would be at or near the top of my list.
