Goddammit Luke, why don't you just give me a fucking heart attack next time....I saw the headline and picture moments after I started installing the update.

It's not necessarily ridiculous to want these things in your gaming experience, but it is unreasonable for you to want it from Dark Souls. Most of the things that you mention were intentionally included in the game for a specific reason. Having known that the game is extremely unforgiving of mistakes you probably…
Understood, I was only addressing your statement that you didn't know what kinds of scores you can expect in TDM vs other modes. Assuming that a player is PTFO and not simply farming points, TDM typically offers far higher SPM than any other game mode.
As a competent player you could easily double you SPM and unlocks playing TDM. The significantly smaller map area speeds up the action pretty dramatically.
So basically if he doesn't push the button every 108 minutes the sky will turn purple and Microsoft will spontaneously implode? I like it.
Question 1:n/a
The reputation system on XBL could definitely use an overhaul as the current rep system is useless, but there is simply no way they are going to stop charging for XBL in The near future. It's simply too easy of a revenue stream for Microsoft to dismiss out of hand.
It's a convenience thing for me. I don't use a single thing that runs on AA's so it's not even on my radar when I'm at the store. I would be pretty annoyed when it's late at night and I have to run to the store just to get some friggin' batteries because my controller died and I used the last of them a few nights…
Online polls aren't necessarily indicative of the population as a whole, but they are entirely relevant in the context of the most important demographic right now....early adopters.
It's actually the complete opposite. All mechanical hard drives can and will fail eventually, regardless of manufacturing defects, just like any other item that has moving parts. It's just normal wear and tear, and the probability that a HD will fail only goes up the longer it's in use.
Game saves...yes. Media content...sure (within reason). Game installs? Not a chance in hell...and these are the things that are going to eat up the vast majority of HD space for most gamers.
I can't imagine a single convenience feature (or even multiple features) that can possibly make up for a lack of mechanical keys.
I practice at an indoor range twice a month and typically go through about 500 rounds, though with the cost of ammo going through the roof I'm not sure how much longer that will remain feasible. I used to take periodic safety refresher courses though I've stopped in the last few years...the last was about 4 years ago.…
It was. Jillian was a very sick young woman.
It's no problem, I can respect anyone's willingness to understand other people's behaviours, even when (especially when) they don't necessarily agree with their choices.
Driving with a loaded gun is hit and miss with people. My weapon is loaded at all times, but it is also secured in a holster on my body. I don't know where she had her gun but if it was loaded and just sitting loose in the car that's just asking for trouble.
I wasn't saying it can't be a good deal, I was just outlining why someone may prefer to go the MonoPrice route. Even with a screen check things can and do happen in shipping. Buying the equivalent monitor on eBay really only saves about $100, and for that money you get a 30 day cash back guarantee and a 1 year…
I sometimes juggle random things in public as well. Never thought to use it as a prop to get laid though. Somehow I doubt Mrs. Nillaz would approve. :)
I'm sure if you researched your Catleap (or equivalent) you have come across stories of how insanely difficult (if not impossible) it has been for some people to return those ebay monitors if they turn out to be defective.
You could run Newznab on a SSD but a really speedy HD isn't really required unless you are running a MASSIVE index. OTOH a good CPU and a decent amount of RAM will be much more beneficial. Running Newznab under Linux will speed things up because you can access the (still beta) threaded update scripts...though be…
