@nightsky: Yes, sarcasm. The international language of derision. I have bought to many of the cool phones on paper that Verizon managed to mangle. I know they won't do it to the iPhone, but can you imagine that whole interface on the iPhone? There should be an app for that.

Can't wait to see the iPhone with that amazing red background OS that Verizon uses! The Get it Now™ interface is going to be amazing and the integrated music downloads and video from Verizon is going to make this iPhone a real winner!

@nightsky: AH! That makes sense. I thought they meant something else. Last time I comment at 6:00 in the am.

The chart itself has some bad science. There are no "faster-than-light" weapons. There are however speed of light weapons like lasers.

Still waiting for the Angry Birds™ planes.

I like that you get F1 drivers on the fastest roller coaster in the world, and they look around and talk during the ride.

@LARPkitten: I think that is called Methylene Blue, or something therelike.

Hey! My white mice are missing!

Of course, on the other hand, it could be running into Dark Matter, causing drag...

@Thatmushroom: Didn't see this before I posted. You did a much better job. Thanks

There is a theory call "Modified Newtonian Dynamics" That says F=MA does not function right at extremely small accelerations, like 10 to the -11th power. At that distance the inverse square law would indicate that the force of gravity from the sun would be somewhere in that range. Interesting

@teohhanhui: You must not look at the site much, they published about the same resolution pics of the Apollo 11 landing sight about a week ago. #phoenixlander

We have a 48 Willys that we drive everywhere in the mountains. A lot of people began using 4 wheelers because Jeeps got to expensive to justify bashing them on the trails. Now, I see a lot of the 4 seat 4wd utility vehicles on the trails, because people, I think, want the old, inexpensive, basic Jeep type vehicle. Why

Hurts my neck just looking at it.

@sneakypoo: Similar, but I believe different shaped crystals. There is a whole webpage devoted to atmospheric phenomena. Way cool stuff. I have seen "sun pillars" given off by Venus on a -28 deg morning.

Not a meteor, It's a sundog with an arch. I'm not a meteorologist, but an astronomer, and have seen many of these. They are caused by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere. Heres a link [en.wikipedia.org]
